I have no title, to hold me down...Aug08 PTR with free dining?

I would not suggest A Sponful of Sugar....trust me you don't want to teach a 5 year old that song when you have to spend two days in a car with him.:rotfl2:

Oops...too late. I have been singing that song for weeks. I am itching to go see it on broadway. Was hoping if I sang the songs enough, someone would get me tickets for my BDay.

Hey, nice reports, we did Prime time last year and loved it, I got fussed at (elbows). Can't do it this year under repair. Still have ADR's to make. Not sure which ones, wanna do Mama Melrose & Boma but haven't convinced the rest of our crew yet. Keep it up I'm in.

Thanks! I am so psyched :goodvibes for Boma. From all I have read, it sounds great. I love disney Buffets. Umm...gud for belly. :yay:

I'm in. My parents saw Mary Poppins on B'way - they loved it, oh so did my sister and she enjoyed it too. Hope someone buys you tix!

I have the Disney CDs they are great!

Yipee. Yipee. I got a magic postcard today. Actually it came to my wife, but it is all mine now. Tomorrow I call AAA to get a well deserved 30% off.

Sad news. I don't get to save any money.:sad1:

Apparently the discount they sent me was does not apply to the ASMu Family Suites. :sad2: Oh well.

Time to make changes to the schedule.

Sun 8/24 - check-in at ASMu. PM at MK with a group dinner at CP.

Mon 8/25 - AM at Typhoon Lagoon. PM at DHS. Dinner at Prime-Time.

Tue 8/26 - MK all-day. Ohana for early dinner.

I was also thinking about adding a Castle breakfast on this day. Will have to be OOP though. :scratchin:

Wed 8/27 - Epcot all-day. Garden Grill for Dinner. If needed, mid-day break at DTD.

Thur 8/28 - AK day. Dinner at Boma.

Fri 8/29 - AM at DHS. PM at Epcot. Dinner at Biergarten.

Sat 8/30 - c/o  and :drive: home

In case you haven't noticed, I don't belived in chilling at the hotel. I am a stay where you are kind of guy. You can waist a lot of time shuttling around. It is time I would rather spend in a park. Of course, this all depends heavily upon the energy of my 5yr old. We'll just have to hope for the best.

We also spend very little time at the resorts - basically mornign and afternoon at the parks, go to resort to change/refill baby supplies and w/in 1 hr - 1 1/2 hrs back out again to park close.

Maybe it is a Jersey thing?

Oh no sorry about the discount not counting :sad1: Great itinerary :)

Still makes me sad.

Although, now I am trying to convince my DW that we could go down a few days early and stay in a nicer dis hotel with the big discount. What a great opportunity to experience a deluxe dis hotel. Normally our budgets wouldn't allow it. But at 30% off, we might be able to afford a night or two without the DDP and tickets.

Would be good to have a day or two to unwind from long drive down.
Then dive into all the disney craziness.

Subscribing. Looks like we will miss each other by a few weeks.
I skimmed quickly and I'm heading out the door.
I'll catch up on all of it a little later.:thumbsup2

thanks for reading...

So today I decided that I am going to add a couple days to the start of my trip.
Since I wasn't able to use my discount pin for the week already booked, I want to book 2 nights before my trip with the pin.
Just a room, no DDP or tickets.

Here is my revised plan.

We didn't plan much hotel time at all. but we're so out of shape that we were just dead every day. if we ever go back, we might plan an extra day in the middle to just be lazy and lay around at the hotel...haha.

Oh, we have a plan to avoid this problem. The entire family will be in distance walking training before we leave. I will not accept "I am tired" as an excuse to leave a park early. We only go to WDW every couple years, so it is important for me to keep the team moving. If I can do it, then anyone should be able to do it.

:rotfl2: You're going for the commando approach then :rotfl2:

Ok just realized you had a thread going. the plans sound good. I loved POR. I tried to get ASMU suite but it was booked when we went so I chose POR.

Looking forward to hearing more.

Thanks for reading. I love POR. I would do that in a heartbeat, but I am looking forward to having 2 bathrooms for this trip.
