Not yet, I am waiting a month or two so I have the cash for the deposit.

The drive isn't too bad. 18 - 24 hours depending on # of stops and traffic. I am a little nervous since this is the first time I will be the main driver.

I guess you LIKE your butt going numb and hearing "are we there yet?" 3,000,000 times, and paying just as much for gas as you would for a plane ticket, and waiting three or four times as long to get there, and having to waste a second vacation day with driving HOME instead of having it at the parks...Ok. Your choice.

Okay, look. You are right about some of these problems. But driving is cheaper for any group over 2. The drive for us is less than 1200 miles - at 17 MPG, we will need approx 71 gallons of gas each way.
71 x $3.50 = $248.50 x 2 = $497

Flying from NJ to MCO will be way more than that for my group of 4.

I'm just giving you a hard time. You heard about my drive from LI as a teen.

And you get about the same gas mileage as I do. What kind of truck/large SUV do YOU drive?
