The winners are

Mickeys mom, JRJ249, atlnewf, campingcorgi, goofyd, and dawngee.

Nicole you will get your pair at Disney, they have enough for the season, but if something weird happens and you don't let me know I'll give you mine.

As to the rest it looks like you didn't want any if I read your posts correctly, but if you did and I didn't read it right let me know.

And somebody stop Robyn from calling security, and sending me to sing sing for stealing Muppet glasses.

If the lucky 6 could give me an address by email I'll try to get these off before I go out of town on Wednesday.

This is for those of you that can not make it to the Osborne Family lights this year.

I went last night and Disney supplied you with special glasses that let you see special images when you look at Christmas lights.

The images are of ------- sorry I wont spoil the surprise, but I got an extra 6 that I will give to the first 6 people that reply.

If you have kids or grandkids, they will really get a kick out of these glasses. Plus you can enjoy them going oooooo and aaaaaa every time they look at lights.

60's generation people will like them as well, instant flash back time. Peace

No payment necessary on these, I'll pay shipping this is my gift to the first lucky 6 that reply to my post.

The Osborne Family ask a favor of us all "commit a random act of kindness this Christmas" this is mine what's yours going to be.

I'm told Mean Laureen is sending out fruitcakes and yards-o-beef

Try it you'll feel better I already do.

So go for it the first lucky six that reply will get a set of special Disney 3D glasses.

That is so great of you and Disney. I am such a believer in random acts of kindness. It is amazing how much a nice act can mean to someone. This past summer, I went to a local amusement park and won a large stuffed dog. I knew I didn't need it and I saw this mom and daughter walk away after lossing the game (to me). So I walked over and gave the dog to the child. The mom couldn't get over it. She started crying and then I almost started crying. Needless to say it made me more committed to random acts of kindness. So I am all with Raulandpinboy: commit random acts of kindness, not just during the holiday season but all year round.

Thanks for the offer of the glasses. I spend Christmas with my parents so I won't have any lights around to enjoy the glasses with till Christmas so I think I will pass and let someone else enjoy the magic.

Oh Raul you are the best and your wife is nice too,
sorry, I am stuck on that phrase
I have a few pair of those glasses from last year (different image) and the year before (same as this year). I love them especially with the colored lights on the tree.
Melissa, you can use the glasses to look at the street lights. It gives the same illusion. Doesn't work as well with lightbulbs, but street lights work. Don't understand why.
And they are fun to wear when you go to look at the way others have decorated their houses. WARNING don't let the driver wear them!
We have a man in Norwalk Ct who does his house up almost as good as the Osbornes. He has over 100 wood cut outs many Disney characters that he sets up and he decorates his entire yard. He started the day after Halloween. People come for miles to see his displays. I gave him a pair fo the glasses last year and he said he wanted to try and get some for his visitors this year. Hope he has some luck. Peggie

Hi Raul,

If you still have a pair left, I would love to get a pair for my kids. We can take them to DLR and check out how they work there.

Thanks....it is nice to see people doing random acts of kindness!

Are these the same as the glasses they give out at Muppet 4D?

If so, aren't you suppose to give those back after the show?

I don't think I want to be an accomplice after the crime.

Besides, we're leaving for WDW in just about 51 hours. . . :D . . . So we can steal our own Osbourne glasses. ;)

Raul . . . The countdown is nearing its end.
If I close my eyes I can almost see next Friday night's Contemporary meet crowd . . .
and I'm there! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

If you haven't already run out, I'd love a set for my son.

Thanks.

Ashley

We are taking our 2 DDs to WDW in a week. If you think we would get the glasses in time, I would absolutley love a pair for them.

If not, thank you anyway, and thank you for your generosity to all of us!

Nicole

Eeyores pal, The Osborne glasses are so neat. Nothing like the 3-d glasses they use for the movies.
They have a special lens on them that when you look at christmas lights the lights change and are circled with an image. I have some glasses from past years, one had stars, and one had angels.
I don't know how they do it, but the lights are surrounded with the image. They are so pretty.
Nicole, I was at MGM last year on Dec 28 and they still had glasses available so you should be able to find some for your entire family when you go. Make sure you bring some home for the family, it is so nice to look at the tree with them on. My mother who was an angel collector loved the pair I brought for her. She wore them most of last Christmas. This year I know when I look through my glasses I will be thinking of her.

Ooh, We were just playing with last year's glasses--looking at the decorations we've been putting up. If you have another set, I'd love them!

Barbara
193 days to go till I go 'home' to FW
and I want to check out the pin trading at Contemporary after reading your post!

:smooth: Oh wow...thought we were the only crazy "bikers" on the Dis. Glad to see you are a "biker" too. We rode from Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando and back the same day (Saturday) just to see the Osborne lights. (and to find PINS!) . Now that was a nice ride.
Have been enjoying your posts for a long time and we hope someday to meet up with you.

Raul,

I would absolutely love a pair if you have any left. That is so wonderfully kind of you to offer this. I loooooove Christmas and Lights and all that stuff!!!!

Thanks again either way,

dawn g.
