that Emeril has a restraunt down at wdw. Is this true? If it is where is it and what is the name? thanks

I believe that is at Universal.

It's not at Disney. Wolfgang Puck is a Downtown Disney.

Emeril,s is not at WDW it is located at Universal"s CityWalk. I have not dined there but I hear it is good.

The restaurant downtown is Wolfgang Puck. I have eaten there, it is amazing!!!

I don't think he has any in WDW but he has one at Citywalk(Universal Studios)and at The Royal Pacific Hotel(onsite hotel for USO.It's called The Tchoup Tchoup and the the other is Emeril's).

We've dined at Emeril's in Citywalk three times. Twice for dinner, once for lunch. It was fantastic all times! Pretty pricey though not any more than you'd paid at the "signature" restaurants at WDW. Definitely worth the trip to US for it. Lunch is cheaper of course but the food offerings are different than dinner. Still wonderful though!

Oh Well, I was hoping that it was at WDW. I guess I will have to miss out on this trip because we won't have a rental car down there. Thanks everyone for letting me know

Emeril Lagasse has two restaurants in the Orlando area, both at Universal. Emeril's Orlando is at Citywalk, for reservations call: (407) 224-2424.

Chef Joel Morgan is the Chef du Cuisine at Emeril's Orlando.

Here are their lunch and dinner menus.

Emeril's Tchoup Chop (pronounced Chop Chop), is a pan-asian restaurant, located in the Royal Pacific hotel and is somewhat less expensive, for reservations call (407) 503-2467.

Chef Nicholas Shust is Chef du Cuisine.

Here are their lunch and dinner menus.

For both restaurants from their web site:

Attire: We recommend business casual attire. However, smart-casual attire is completely acceptable. We ask that gentlemen not wear sleveless shirts.

They do recognize that they are located in a theme park and (with the exception of tank tops) are pretty willing to be flexible (they do not care about people wearing hats and theme park t-shirts for example).

Both restaurants sell a variety of Emeril's merchandise including cook books and t-shirts.

From my experience, both restaurants have excellent food and service. If one has never had a tasting meal, try one at Emeril's Orlando. This will be 6-9 small courses (depending on the day) including desert. Their sommelier will also offer a wine specially pared with each course for an extra cost.

Emeril's Orlando's Degustaion (tasting) Menu is $75, and its wine pairing is an additional $45.

Emeril's Tchoup Chop offers one as well, but not every day (I think it costs $55 and I think its wine pairing is $35, but I am not sure).

Enjoy.

Take a taxi if you really want to go.

It is around $30 each way for a taxi between Disney World and Universal (depending on exact starting and ending points). There are also shuttles (Mears among others) that travel between the locations and may be cheaper depending on how many of you there are.
