Barb - I'm so glad to read that your cruise went well Sounds as though your DH enjoyed himself at least a little because he is willing to go back again in less than a year to celebrate his b-day! Glad the pixie dust got him. Happy for you that you get to go back in less than a year, kind of makes up for all of that waiting.

Hey Barb....glad you had a great time....we will be cruising on 1/29...decided to temp fate again and cruise after Thanksgiving.....in my book DCL is the best...none better....and they always try to make everyone happy.....looking forward to your pictures and trip report.....

I just can't understand anyone being so mean to someone they have never met? .... All haters... They are on my IGNORE buttom - and my ignore button too! And this works wonders! But you know what? I know that if the haters met me, they would like me as we like you! I'll be that person who tells them how adorable their kids are..... how much I admire their wealth of knowledge given on these boards and I would give one of my lungs to any one of you if it helped you! Here's my take on "Check your PM's dear".....

1. I have sent PMs. Like - what has this person done to you? This person doesn't deserve this, etc. etc. Supporting a fellow Diser.

2. I received numerous responses... basically telling me I had no business and did not know what I was getting myself into by taking up "a cause" I knew nothing about.

3. I forwarded the responses to the poor DISer who was the subject of all the tensions....

4. We wondered what would happen if we posted the PM's on the DIS boards so everyone would see the true colors. Embarrassment and it was not why we are here for.

5. Ummm. Dropped it. Moved on... ain't worth the time. Let's talk about cruisin !

Yet it still continues..... it's truly sad

She loves horses.... See we have two things in common, kids who love horses (your daughter's site is on my fav's) and taking Disney cruises. What happened to your shrimp loving stuff too! That always cracked me up. It made me take my husband to take that on our embark day!

Yikes! What was that all about? Rae was teasing her about using an alias...

I met Barb & her family on our 11/8 cruise. I asked her why she had not been posting & she explained she had been banned from posting based on activity that took place on another DIS board. She said the people on the cruise board were very nice. Some others on a different board were not... I guess I was the only one that didn't know she was banned from posting... But, I only visit this board & read delswife's trip reports- love ya, mean it!

I think you are seeing people questioning why her posts are under a new screen name & whether it is hers, or not. If the ban was lifted, she should feel free to post under her established DIS name that everyone knows her as. I wasn't sure who it was that posted either until the "pants" were mentioned. ( I was a witness, her hubby did wear pants while on the ship-which I'm sure made her very happy!)

If anything, I think everyone is being very supportive of her in this thread & no ill will is harbored at all. Obviously, she feels comfortable enough to post here, or she wouldn't have done it- banned or not.... She has gotten beat up a bit here from time to time which is not right, but it's pretty evident everyone is happy that she finally had her turn & had a wonderful cruise! She waited a long time for it.
