In my backyard

horses.jpg

there were a total of 11 of them

I love to watch deer, they are so graceful. This past deer season (yes I am a hunter), I saw a beautiful doe. Mostly white with a little brown on her. I have seen them before in pics, but never in the wild.

I also am a hunter but I would never hunt any who came into my yard to visit

I hunt about 50 miles from my home and all the land around here is posted so these guys are safe to just be :teeth:

Wow, wish I could have seen that this morning! Thanks for sharing! :goodvibes

I just stood on my back porch snapping pics
i got about 15 but that one shows the most deer
they just stood there like they were posing :goodvibes

That is so neat. They are such beautiful animals. Thanks so much for sharing. Wish we could have something like that in our backyard.

We have a smaller group hanging around our area. I suspect we'll see them tomorrow after the snow stops, since all their food will be covered up. (They like to come right up to the back of my house, and nibble on the shrubs).

The only wildlife we see in our backyard are skunks. I'll take deer any day.

The only wildlife in my backyard is my 9 year old son!
Love watching deer- I can't believe my dh can look at one and shoot it, I'm just in awe of their beauty and can't imagine taking their life.

Be careful what you wish for. I really enjoy looking out the window and watching them, but they do a lot of damage. We spent a small fortune on "deer proof" landscaping this Fall. We're keeping our fingers crossed that they leave it alone. :thumbsup2

That is why i don't do much in the way of landscaping
they like to eat it

We had several early this morning. By the time I got the camera though, they were gone.
:sad2:

Just saw a skunk myself the night before last!! Luckly I saw it from a distance!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Seeing deer in our yard is a daily occurance - it would be unusual to NOT see them! They are everywhere in our neighborhood and surrounding towns. Lots of people hate them, but I love them. Even with the area so built up and the general environment so overdeveloped, deer can still live and thrive here (north central NJ). I do love watching them and try not to scare them too much when I am driving in and out of my driveway! :)

Wow that is amazing - the only thing we get in the UK is other peoples cats!! :lmao:

Cool!

Kayla, if you also had Lauri for company, you'd have a crazy redhead running out there wanting to hug them. :teeth:

Not to mention three poodles and a tibetan spaniel barking their heads off.

I love watching the deer come in my yard. I had beautiful landscaping when i first built my house. Every year I replant due to the deer eating everything. I doesn't really bother me. I look at it that i cut down the trees where they lived. This is the least i can do for them. I love that my children can look out the window and see them. What i hate is waking up to gunshots and having to tell my daughters that they are hunting the same deer that they see in the yard.
