I have become a Disney snob. :(

Funny enough, I did end up changing resorts today.

After a good amount of research, I decided free dining just wasn't worth it - I could get a better discount by just paying out of pocket and getting the AP discount at a Value instead (and buying my pre-upgrade tickets from UT saved me even more). I called to see what was available Value-wise, and switched to Pop!

I know Pop is (marginally) closer to most of the parks; I have only stayed one night here (we moved to CR the next day ) and suddenly I am really excited to be returning! I didn't feel this way about ASMu for some reason, but I am excited about returning to Pop. I loved their food choices and dining area (looking forward to having early breakfasts there!!!), and I really, really am looking forward to shlepping over to AoA and checking it out. Plus it will be nice to be at a resort I visited temporarily with my Mom; maybe I can end up back in the 50s section (where we stayed last time, requested because that's when she was born!).

So I might be a bit of a snob... but I'm back to being super excited.

Understand completely. We started out at the Poly. and what a mistake. We were spoiled from the very beginning. We stayed at the CBR once, and that ended our moderate experiment. We now won't settle for a lesser resort, just because we're dying to go back to WDW. If it takes 2, 3 or however many years it takes, we won't go back until we can afford to stay where we want to.
