I have an apology to make

The other day I posted on a thread about protestors. I told myself I wasn't even going to open it up becasue I knew it would tick me off. Well, I did open it and replied to it.

Now that I read my own posts I can see why everybody in the world thinks that people from SE Ohio are Rednecks and hillbillys .

I guess with my nephew going to Iraq, the picture of that lady holding the flag in ruins just set me off. I am not usually a person to fo off in a rampage, now I am outspoken, sometimes I put my foot in my mouth which I did the other day.

I come here to have fun, and what I said on Tuesday was not fun! So, I am sorry if I offended anyone

The destruction of the American flag pushes buttons for lots of folks, especially those of us that have loved ones that risking everything to maintain the freedom that flag symbolizes for all of us. I don't recall what you said in that thread (I did read it and post to it but it might have been before you did and I don't think I re-read it later) but I think everyone understands how painful this issue might be for you and cause you to say something in a way you normally wouldn't have.

I feel the same way mhopset. I knew better than to open up the thread, let alone post to it. You have a very good reason for feeling the way you do and I don't think you need to appologize. I don't remember exactly what you said but it couldn't have been that bad. We're all moving on. {{{{HUGS}}}}
