I need to know if they have the carnival type games at any of the parks. You know the kind I mean, like at Six Flags where you can win stuffed animals. I really really hope not!!! I need to be prepared for the grandkids in July. Thank You

Well, the only ones I know of are at the Boardwalk and then only in the evening, and then sometimes only on the week-ends!!! So if you want to avoid them, steer clear of the Boardwalk at night. Although, the resorts all do have gamerooms!!! So beware of that!!!

The only place at disney with an area like that is AK in Dinoland. Universal has a carny area and so does Sea World.

I will say if they like to play the games, the ones at Boardwalk are pretty easy to win prizes. My grandkids, including the 7 year old, came carrying back all kinds of stuffed animals.

If they are only at AK I can handle that. Just saying no at one park I can get away with!!! Thank You all so much. One less worry!!!!

And they are not even that visible, if I remember correctly. I knew they were there, but they are kind of behind the rides. I hardly remeber seeign them at all. It should be pretty easy to distract the kids away from them.

Hope that helps!

Also watch out for Pizza Planet at MGM -- it is an arcade as well as counter service restaurant. There are lots of games and those awful claw machines and they are not cheap to play.

Dont forget about the ticket spewing games at Disneyquest...they are almost as bad as pizza planet

at Disneyland resort has a very visible, entire boardwalk area full of them. I know what you mean about keeping the kiddo's away from them. We spent about $30.00 on them in March! But they did have some easy ones, and my DS got 4 stuffed fish. (one looked like Nemo!). Good luck and have a great trip! :rotfl:

The ones at AK are easy to win, too! My girls ages 5 and 8 both played one game each and both won a stuffed animal. They were so proud of themselves!! It was one of the highlights of their trip! Have fun!!
