Hello!
Unfortunately, my condition has progressed to the point where we have had to aquire a scooter for my use both at home AND at Disney - I used to be able to get around everywhere else, but... well... now I need one for the mall, Publix, Wal-mart, etc. I just found out I'm lecturing in 2 different buildings on campus next semester, so that was the icing on the cake.
I love the one I have, its a Golden Buzzround Lite, but I was at MK all day yesterday, not even a heavy day, and the battery ran completely out! Its a very small scooter, but our main priority was getting one that I could break down and assemble by myself. This is the only one that fit the bill - well, we did try a Pride Go-Go, but it was even less durable than this one.
Is there anywhere in any of the parks where I could go to charge it a little bit, if needed? Yesterday the 7th graders I was chaperoning had to push me up the monorail ramp and across the TTC parking lot to the buses. It was pretty embarassing! Would First Aid let me do that there?
Thanks!
