I saw a thread tonight about going to Niagra Falls. We are going to Cooperstown next week and were thinking about a day trip to Niagra, which would be a 5 hour drive each way....big day trip. Our 24th anniversary is 2 months from now, and I was looking into the Marriott Fallsview mentioned in the other thread. Travelocity has a fallsview jacuzzi room for $150 when everyone else has $300+. Makes me nervous. Is Travelocity safe?

Just a bump. I have never used Travelocity. Surely somebody has. :)

I have used travelocity frequently. I have booked 3 Flights, Several hotel rooms and a rental car and never had a problem with them. I'd say they are safe but that seems like quite a price differnce are you sure it's same Marriot? I believe there are 2 up there.

Be sure to carefully read Travelocity's cancellation policy. Travelocity and Expedia quote prices in US dollars. The Marriott site will give you the price in Canadian dollars - which makes it higher.

Thanks guys...Nancy I figured out the difference a little while ago. My actual price would be $150 + tax.
