I have a question about re-upping

I have been accepted into the Spring Career Start Program and my arrival/departure dates are: 2/21/11-8-12-11, and I would really love to apply for the fall as well so I can go back to back.

1. Is this allowed? Has anyone done this before?
2. If so when do fall applications go up? Or how do you go about applying?

If you are already on the program you could just extend your program and not have to apply again for the fall. I'm not even sure if you can do that. The program people will send out info about extensions and other program participants will be talking about it so you will know when the extension applications go up.

This is one option. (which is not guaranteed.)

When did you apply? There has to be a 6 month period between your 2 applications. As long as you don't pay your fee of $104.50 you don't have to go. I applied at the end of February last year and got into the CS program. So if you have that window of after 6 months I'd say go for it! Being there during Halloween was great I wish I could've made it to Christmas.

If you are in Spring Advantage, you could extend your program and this would take you to the following January. It would probably be easier to extend rather than apply for the Fall Program. The applications for the Fall Program went up at the very end of January/early February this year and most people started to hear back around March. If you decide to go that route, enough time would have passed from your last application, I assume you may have applied for the Spring Program sometime in August? If you apply in February you should be fine.

The HUB will provide information about extending your program so keep watch for that when you are there. It will be found under the College Program/Career Start Module.

Does anyone know . . . when you extend do you continue to keep working or do they give you a new start date.

My son is doing the program now and ends in January. He wants to extend and we have a cruise planned in January. Not sure if I should postpone the cruise or not if he will have to start right away if he extends.

I believe you do have the option to switch if you switch roles...maybe even if you stay in the same role. This one I'm not 100% sure on.

Its where cast members get their schedule and stuff they will explain it all to you when you get there and you'll be on it every single day pretty much.

Ok so he called to apply again for Spring 2011 and its okay to do? That's fantastic! And the applications for extension go up online?

Yes his record card isn't good enough for him to extend and he told me that they said he could apply for the Feb. 21 check in date.

Seems like the extension app is down across the board. Nobody has been able to successfully complete the process. My DD said several of them tried but it stops after they enter their name and pern number. I hope they get it fixed soon.

I can tell everyone that it is still not fix, i called them this morning and they know that it is down working on trying to get it fixed, the kids only have untill the 13 to reapply hopefully it is up and working before then. We try every half an hour and still nothing.

Just an FYI my friend Sean said he was able to apply for an extension today! Texted me at 3:30
