I have a Question about annual pass discounts!

Hi.... I am sure this has been asked.. but I couldn't find the answer.. I know you get a room discount with an annual pass.. but I was wondering, do you always??? Are there certain times of the year they don't offer anything? The reason why I am asking is the we plan on going to WDW in July, and I was wondering if we would still receive a room discount?? and what are the room discounts usually? Any help with responses would be greatly appreciated.

(I did call WDW, and they insisted there is always a discount... but not put out till a month or so before the trip..) But trying to figure out where we will be staying and that may depend on the discount.

We have only had our passes for about a month, but right now there are discounts available through Dec 25th on the website. Right now it is 35% off value, 35% off mod and 42% off Deluxe and Villas. You can also get the dining plan added to the room packages online, I have found it to be a hassle to do it over the phone. You need to register your passes online and book through the tab at the top of the page that says "passholders", then click on "passholder offers". We are actually going this weekend and staying at All Star Movies in a preferred room with deluxe dining for $245.66! Hope this helps!

Last I looked, I thought there was a black-out period for Annual Pass discounts during Summer 2011 but I haven't double-checked. Even if you can't get an Annual Pass room discount, you may qualify for some of the other promotions such as Free Dining.
