I have 72 boxes of GS cookies in the trunk of my car

No one came around our neighborhood this year selling cookies. Haven't even seen any tables set up at the stores selling them too.

Only 72. Between my car and my friends van we had 120 cases of Girl Scout cookies. Don't know what she was thinking when she volunteered to be the cookie mom. It was fun though!!!

We did want to open some boxes of thin mints -- but we resisted (for the moment anyway)

Hi Marla I will have 79 CASES in my living room in a couple hours- i am the cookie mom for DD's troop-so all the cookies come to my house first. One of the other moms is picking them up and bringing them to my house for me since I'm still not feeling great. Guess it's a good thing I don't have my appetite back yet

My dd sold 118 boxes -- she was the top seller in her Brownie troop. One person we know bought 12 boxes and then turned around and told us he wants 12 more now that we have delivered them. Luckily the cookie mom has some extra in her home so he can get some more.

Tomorrow I'm in charge of the actual truck delivery!!!!! We undersold 402 cases from last year to this year - did you know that's like 4900 boxes of cookies??!!!! YIKES....I think we will have about a total of over 30,000 boxes coming in tomorrow....hey Marla - CAN I BORROW YOUR BACKSEAT???? ROFL just kidding - TELL KARA GOOD JOB!!!!!

A few weeks ago I counted in and counted back out 4,257 cases of Girl Scout Cookies. (over 51,000 boxes) At that point I was under last year and under budget. I have reodered about 6 times for our cupboard and now am over last year but under budget. Our council is under budget overall which is making the professionals very nervous.

I know what you mean Carol. Our council relies heavily, sometimes too heavily, on the cookie profit. That's why ours had to be raised this year - to help cover our budget!

I know, it's amazing that we finance this thing on the backs of 6 year olds with cookies, but whatever! We actually are pretty good about finances, but this year the United Way was down here so that funding was cut also and we are in the middle of a multi-million dollar camp rennovation program. (They are going to be wonderful when they are done!)

i picked up my cookies yesterday and today my dh and i made 49 bags of cookie boxes up. We made it into a production line. I had written cards with each persons name and order. i get out the brown paper bag, take a card, fill the bag, staple shut. It only took an hour. Now, what to do with all the bags until I can pass them all out.
