Hi my Dh wants to know if 20,000 leagues (sp) is still open? Also do larger size people have problems fitting in seats on rides? (That would be me) Hoping to lose more before we go. The third question is how is the food in the parks? Are there hot dogs and cheeseburgers? Those are favorites for the kids.

Thanks so much. :)

no, 20,000LUTS is closed...has been for years now. As far as seating, I have seen larger people on most rides. The food is pretty good in the parks. They have all kinds of different foods in the park.

20,000 Leagues has been gone for several years.

I'm not small and I have no problem fitting in the ride seats.

There are hot dogs and cheeseburgers available at many of the counter service restaurants.

Hi,
No, 20,000 Leagues is no longer there. Matter of fact, the area is now a Whinnie the Pooh Playland.

Here's a link that might help with rides: http://allearsnet.com/tp/ridsiz.htm

Yes, there are burgers and dogs places in the parks.

No, no, and yes. :-)

20,000 Leagues is long gone.

Most rides accommodate Pooh-sized guests. There is a site called allearsnet.com that has an article entitled WDW at Large that may help ease your concerns. http://allearsnet.com/tp/ridsiz.htm

There are plenty of hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, etc. There is a lot of other food available, too, so you should be able to feed everyone just fine. :) allearsnet also has menus listed if this is a big concern and you'd like to plan out where you'll be or you need to know where to make reservations.

No, unfortunately 20,000 Leagues is no longer at the park.
As far as large people go - you should be fine. I have seen people of all shapes and sizes enter and exit rides with no problems.
The food choices are large and very, very good. Pecos Bill's, Cosmic Ray's and the baseball place at the end of Main Street have burgers and hot dogs. Obviously the baseball place for dogs. Never eaten there but the food smells good. You must try the Crystal Palace for lunch or dinner while you are there. It has something for everyone, the food is very good and it's a great place to relax andeat. We eat there every trip at least once.

i've never had problems on any ride and i am fluffy. the only difficult thing is if you have mobility issues like arthritis a few vehicles (space mountain comes to mind) are a little hard to get out of cause they are very low. most seats are generously sized however

20,000 LUTS has been closed for what seems like ions.

You've already been lead to some good links for the rides question.

As far as how the food is?? We think its awesome! You can get burgers, fries, pizza, etc. in all the parks. The CS places have great food(IMO).

It sounds as though you've never been to WDW or haven't been in years. You are going to be AMAZED at the changes. There is SO much to do, so much to see. Take your time and enjoy it all. Epcot has some wonderful TS restaurants, as do the other parks. For a link to the menus for both counter service and table service, here ya go:

Look at the list on your left....you just choose which park, resort, etc,..you'll get the menus from that area. This will give you a great idea of what to expect ahead of time...

You guys are going to have an awesome time!!!

My poor DH will be so upset that 20,000 is longer there. The last time we went was 13 years ago for our honeymoon.

Caseys is suppose to have great hot dogs at MK. Cosmic Rays and Columbia House at MK for burgers.
