calling people.

I always feel awkward and don't really know what to say. Its like an irrational fear. I'm okay with answering the phone, just..not..calling..someone.

I hate calling people I don't know.
I hate answering the phone. Especially at work. I make the guys do it. Then I tell them what to say, because, apparently, they don't listen to our bosses.

I hate using the phone.
I hate calling people, because it's never them who picks up and sometimes I can't tell if it's them so I say 'May I speak to ??' and then it's tehm. Then I feel stupid.
I also feel awful if they're busy, have someone over or aren't there.

Me too.
A few days ago I had to call my drivers ed teacher to see when I should come observe with him this summer, because I get my permit in 2 weeks.
I actually put it off for a few days because I was so nervous, and when I finally did it took me like, 10 minutes just to think of what to say and call him.
But now I think I have to call him again because he hasn't answered any of my calls or emails and I'm getting worried he won't call me back at all.

I know what you mean..ending a conversation on the phone is always awkward too. I usually make something up..=)

I don't like calling people either. Once I was supposed to call one of my friends to make sure she could go see Pirates 3 with me. I couldn't do it so I made my mom. My mom dialed the number and said "Hi, is Stephanie there? Oh, Hi Stephanie, hang on for just a second" and handed the phone to me. I felt so stupid.

I cannot call ppl..i can call my friends and i can answer the phone no matter who it is but i cant call ppl i dont know like the hair salon, school, doctor, nothing

i also hate it when my parents get a call and they ask me to get it cause there busy at the second, they always think im my parents, and its annoying lol.

I hate calling people and their mom or dad answers. I just say, "Hi. Can I speak to _____, please?" I'm so nice when I talk to their parents. lol

I love calling people.
Especially my guy friends because they're always like "So why did you call me?" and I'll say "Because I got bored."
We have the lamest convos but it's still fun.

What bugs me is when people call me at bad times.
Like during dinner.
Or at the grocery store.
Or in the movies.
Or when someone's over. (Like grandparents or aunts or uncles.)
Or when I just don't feel like talking.

But other than that, i LOVE getting calls hehe.

I don't like calling people I don't know, and I'm not that happy with calling my friend either. I'd much rathar just text them and tell them to call me, lol. I always feel very intrusive when I call them.

I'm fine with answering the phone though...

Except at work, I always get all nervous answering the phone at work because as soon as I do, they start rambling on about their problem, and I have to stop them to say I can't answer it, and I have to forward it to someone else. GAHHH. I also feel weird calling people there, just..because.

thats why i never call my friends house number always cell
but sometimes their parents answer the phone

i don't mind people calling me but i would rather talk to them in person or on the computer

i can call anyone at any time.

guys call me all the time. we have caller ID and so if it's the wrong time and i see they're calling i'm like BAD TIME. CALL YOU BACK LATER. and they're like sure?

and i do call them back it's not like i'm blowing htem off.

i'll call guys house's and talk to their parents' more than them.

talking on the phone is no different than person.

Yeah I used to be like for a while. I would sit with my cell phone in my hand with the person's number on it, ready to call, but I'd sit there for like a half hour (this was only with a few people) for the most part though I was good with the phone. Now I have no problems calling anyone, anytime!
