If you hate snow, cold weather, and don't want to worry about earthquakes, tornados, floods, or hurricanes, I have two words for you: Tucson, Arizona.
Tucson has got to be the biggest non-weather event place anywhere.

The sun shines 350+ days a year, there is NO humidity and we have near perfect temperatures from the end of October till the end of May. I'd think it would be a pretty boring job to be a meteorologist or weather reporter in Southern Arizona.
Now, of course, no place is perfect. For approximately five months of the year (June-October) it is HOT here. Very hot!

If you love the sun and heat, then this is the place to be.

We also have a few creepy, crawlies, but honestly, they aren't as bothersome as I feared they'd be. I just keep telling myself, WE are in THEIR environment, which is true.
I lived in Maryland for 18 years and in Maine for 35 years. The older I got, the less I enjoyed the winters. A little over two years ago, we relocated to Tucson, and I have to say, we would never go back to living in a cold climate. We are loving all the sunshine and warm temps, especially this time of year. We would never go back to shoveling snow, dealing with snowblowers, sanding, driving in snow and ice, below zero temperatures, icy, freezing winds that take your breath away, bundling up in coats, hats, gloves, shoveling a maze of pathways to and from the house...oh, I could go on and on!

I'm getting cold just thinking about those winters!
I truly feel for anyone that doesn't enjoy the snow and has to deal with it every winter.
