I hate snow!

It's so weird to know that we were so close to so much snow and didn't see it at all! We are in Rochester and got just a few flurries. There is still a dusting left today, but nothing bad at all. I'm sure we will get hit soon

I JUST LOVE SNOW!!! :cool1:

We live in western Pa., our ski resorts are opening soon! We are going to Vermont in 2 weeks, we will be there for a week and I can't wait!

Skiing, snowshoeing, sleigh-riding, sledding...then having that cup of hot chocolate!!:love:

Yay!!! :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:
My neighbor loves it to, but she doesn't have to drive in it! She's a homemaker & she loves to sit in her house & watch it fall. She said it's like being in her own little snow globe!!!

I love my neighbor but I hate the snow!!!!!!!!!

I love the snow too and getting snowed in with my family. We watch movies and make hot chocolate, the kids collect at each others houses and have snowball fights and build camps, my dog lays right down in the middle of it and watches it fall and is so lovely when he comes in with a dusting on his coat. The best part though is the silence when a good snowfall hits. Just before the trucks come through to plow when everything is white and still... takes my breath away. I could never live somewhere it never snows.

I don't love worrying about my husband driving home in the carpool when he's caught by surprise or worrying about cars being able to stop for kids when they get off the bus but when we know ahead of time so DH can work from home and the school calls a snow day it's the best!

Totally with you OP, I am here is Depew and just like Mels Mice in Lancaster so much snow in such a short time. I am buried. We had a driving banand cars were getting stuck everywhere. This morning they lifted the ban. The sune is shinning butwe are talking piles of snow about 3 feet high. When I spoke with my DD who lives just a few streets over early this morning their street still was not plowed and they stuck.

Yet all the kiddos are singing Let it snow as they is the 2nd day in a row off of school.

We get all 4 seasons here, but not much snow in the city (but lots in the mountains which are a quick drive). Love it!!!!! It was freezing over Thanksgiving, but is warming up again day by day. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the low 60s! :thumbsup2

I have always wondered about NM...I know you get the 4 seasons...does that mean that you don't have the snake/big spider issues of Arizona?? I am terrified of both and that's what kept me from going to college there...

I complain about the snow in April and all, but really...I do love it! It's pretty, fun to play in, and it really makes you appreciate, more, the non snowy seasons!

We are supposed to have a small storm here today - about 10 inches. Nothing to write home about. I would love another blizzard with 40+ inches!!! So fun!!

If you hate snow, cold weather, and don't want to worry about earthquakes, tornados, floods, or hurricanes, I have two words for you: Tucson, Arizona.

Tucson has got to be the biggest non-weather event place anywhere.:rotfl: The sun shines 350+ days a year, there is NO humidity and we have near perfect temperatures from the end of October till the end of May. I'd think it would be a pretty boring job to be a meteorologist or weather reporter in Southern Arizona.

Now, of course, no place is perfect. For approximately five months of the year (June-October) it is HOT here. Very hot!:scared1: If you love the sun and heat, then this is the place to be.:rotfl: We also have a few creepy, crawlies, but honestly, they aren't as bothersome as I feared they'd be. I just keep telling myself, WE are in THEIR environment, which is true.

I lived in Maryland for 18 years and in Maine for 35 years. The older I got, the less I enjoyed the winters. A little over two years ago, we relocated to Tucson, and I have to say, we would never go back to living in a cold climate. We are loving all the sunshine and warm temps, especially this time of year. We would never go back to shoveling snow, dealing with snowblowers, sanding, driving in snow and ice, below zero temperatures, icy, freezing winds that take your breath away, bundling up in coats, hats, gloves, shoveling a maze of pathways to and from the house...oh, I could go on and on! I'm getting cold just thinking about those winters!

I truly feel for anyone that doesn't enjoy the snow and has to deal with it every winter.:sad2:

I live in southeastern VA. We have crazy weather. A couple days ago, I was wearing shorts, then at night it got in the 40's, now we have a forcast for dusting of snow Saturday night. I had my fill of snow this winter, but with that said, we hardly get any usually and I like it like that.

I hate snow too!!!
We've been lucky here in Nova Scotia so far this year, we got a small bit of snow a few weeks ago that was gone quickly and haven't gotten more then a few flurries since then. It's been RAIN here.

Oh, another reason I love it here! I forgot about the palm trees! I've always wanted to live where I can see palm trees every day! Paaaaaalm trees...I love palm trees!

If I could smell like Coppertone sunscreen and look at palm trees every day for the rest of my life, I'd be happy.:rotfl:

I actually enjoy the "totally snowed in" days too - it's cozy - and kind of exciting, in an odd sort of way.. Wondering how much of the white stuff will pile up - how long we'll be snowed in.. But of course I don't have to go out in it, so that makes a world of difference - and now that my Dson-in-law purchased that very large generator that can power almost everything in the house - we don't have to worry about being cold and I don't have to worry about not having my coffee - LOL..

DGD loves being outside in it and the dog is hysterical - runs around and does just about everything except turn himself inside out..:rotfl:

But if we "only" had snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, I could live with that too.. I guess it's a state of mind - grumble about it or make the best of it and keep on smiling..:goodvibes

To those who are buried right now though - having problems - needing to drive in it and such - I really do feel bad for you.. Please stay warm - stay safe - and if you can (I know it's not possible for all), stay at home..
