I have a Dec. use year and our long trip is always end of Oct./beginning of Nov. Am I upset about the new rules? No. It is what it is. I knew going in that rules could be changed.
At the moment I have a 2BR SV booked at Boardwalk from 10/27 through 11/05. As it turns out I cannot go this year BUT the friends I travel with are still going. Mutual FL friends will be using the 2nd BR instead of me.
It's the first time I cannot go on a trip planned 11 mos. out (and hopefully the last time). At least I can look forward to going in Dec. for a long weekend!

OK question....you booked the ressie and now you can pass it on to some one else....I thought if you booked it you had to be there and use the reservation? If I could not go in March 08(which I have booked) I could transfer it say to my children to use then? They are not on ressie now.
-- and they are not required to submit changes in banking rules to the owners. As a matter of fact, I read in another thread that they could eliminate banking altogether without a vote. I'm not sure that's 100% accurate, but the fact is the only things we are guaranteed are those which are guaranteed in the POS...and that's darn few things.

Even with the banking changes, unless you are one to always travel during the holidays or winter, March UY is perfect. November and December are some of the busiest times. I have to navigate the bad weather in Jan & Feb as far as flying goes. So March is just perfect. You may find it works out better than you think in the long run.
