I Hate Cancer!!

Another HATER here! My best friend's daughter has leukemia at 13. She is such a fighter and know she is someone special for what she has had to go throught this past year.

My prayers are with all and believe me, the power of prayer is stronger than you would ever believe!

I just lost a good friend last month to cancer. She was 41 and the mother to two young boys. It breaks my heart.

Having been diagnosed last month with breast cancer, I am sporting a little pin on my purse these days (picked up at a support group at my hospital) that says "CANCER SUCKS" and my pink ribbon of course.

I hate cancer too! My father died three years ago of Lymphoma and my father-in-law died two years ago of lung cancer.

Me too. My father was only 38 years old when he died from a brain tumor. I never got to know him.

I hate cancer with a vengeance. I had a spot on a routine x-ray and got called back to have it retaken. I immediately assumed that it was cancer and burst into tears as soon as I walked in the waiting room. I ended up talking like a maniac in the waiting room to anyone who would listen. A lot of people were waiting there to see if they had cancer, some already knew that they had it. Mine apparantly turned out to be nothing, it had just up and vanished! I still feel so bad for the rest of the people in that waiting room!!

My dad died from lung cancer.

On his 60th birthday he said he wouldn't be here for his 61st. He died 5 days before that birthday.

Cancer sucks. Both my grandfathers battled mulitple kinds of cancer last year (and are still with us thankfully). My great uncle battled colon cancer about 10 years ago. And my friend lost her dad to brain cancer this past September. My sister lost a friend in kindergarten. There's a first grader here in town who's been battling ALL for the past year. And the list, unfortunately goes on.

My Mom just died in February from ovarian cancer. I miss her dearly.

I hate cancer so much. In l987 my then 3 year old son was diagnosed with Ewings sarcoma (bone cancer) in his leg. He had to have his leg amputated and endure a year of chemo. Thankfully he survived. In l989 my 45 year old brother was diagnosed with colon cancer. He had surgery and chemo but sadly died only 5 months after being diagnosed. In l992 my father was diagnosed with esophogeal cancer and died two months later. In l995 I was diagnosed with colon cancer. THankfully after surgery and chemo I am now fine. My family has had enough of the word cancer to last a lifetime.

Ill pray to.. so sorry.. My mom almost had a throat cancer.. Luckily didnt.

I also hate cancer. To many people in my life have been affected - even me.

NH - I would LOVE a pin like that!! I certainly feel that way lately!~! I've survived cancer - it's all the crap that comes after it that's driving me nuts lately - lymphedema, hot flashes, fatigue and general b**chiness!

I hate Cancer more than anything in this world. I lost my 32 y.o. husband to Pancreatic Cancer in October.

One more reason for my family to hate cancer. We found my great uncle's obituary in the paper this morning. Turns out he lost his battle with liver cancer (which we didn't even know he was fighting) on Thursday I hate this freaking disease!
