I hate Boston Rob!!!!! (SPOILER ALERT!!! (Sorry!!)

I felt a little sorry for Lex last night, but after seeing him on the morning show I think he got what he deserved! He said he and Rob were great friends off the show (from charity events), but he will never be his friend again now. Said it is NOT just a game! What a two face! Hello??!!

He also claims he was NOT shocked by what Cathy did as he begged her not to give the immunity to him. He said that look of shock was all in the editing.

I am not sure why the others appear to be laying low. That could be the way it is being edited or they really are trying to lay low for now.

Did anyone from the morning show ask him how what Rob did is any different from what he did to Colby and Ethan? If not, they should have.

This is just one more reason why I now think Survivor All Stars is not such a good idea. People are trusting people based on past friendships and relationships outside the game. When you have all strangers, there is never that problem.

NO one asked him! I was waiting and hoping!!! As of this point Lex does NOT see the irony in his stupid statement! AGH! I wanted to reach in there and slap him!

The friendships do make it a different game. I like it though it really is a different game with all these facets.

People like BR do not do well with the juries. He most likely will have issues if it comes down to a jury decision about him. I did not feel strongly about Lex getting whacked last night. He played stupid, that's that. Its all great entertainment.

I like Rob and Amber but I don't think they will make it too much farther. They have too big of targets on their backs. Everyone knows they will take eachother to the final two.

I don't feel bad for Lex because isn't what Rob did last night, what Lex did to Ethan a few weeks ago?

You hate to see one person who is successful at bamboozling a whole group of people...but if he does it well enough, that's what the game is all about. The cocky arrogant attitude is a bit wearing, though.

Lex didn't make one good move the whole game. He convinced the others to vote out the strong players on their tribe therefore losing the immunity and reward challenges. Then he says the Ethan it isn't about friendship and turns around and expects another friendship to get him through.
Plus does anyone remember him having an absolute hissy fit after someone voted for him Africa? I don't think he is a very rational person if things don't go his way.

Remember when they were discussing whether or not to vote off Amber and they were all concerned that Rob would go nuts on them? You would think that that should not have mattered, that Amber should have gone. They were really silly in thinking that anyone could be trusted, much less BRob!! Now, it's going to get interesting to see what Rupert, Alicia and ShiAnn do from here on in. What with Amber looking so distraught during the reward last night because she made those promises. Does anyone think that Jenna or Rupert noticed?

I heard Jerri on the radio yesterday morning. They all call Rob and Amber - "Romber" ala Bennifer. I thought it was pretty funny. I also wonder how all the former Mogo Mogo turned Chapera people knew about Romber's relationship.

Yes Lex did screw himself and had what happedned to Ethan happent o him - friendships or not.

I don't think Rupert is so much a lap dog as he might be flying under the radar until the numbers go down and start to swing in his favor. If he can last one more vote that will leave 7. I am guessing Kathy or Shii-Ann go next week if they stay on tribal lines of voting. Rupert will then maybe try to swing Jenna and Alicia to vote with him and Kathy/Shii-Ann. It could happen. I really like Rupert and he deserves to go far. He should have gone farther last time too. Keeps showing nice guys tend to finish in the middle on Survivor!!

Nuke - I completely forgot about Lex's tantrum in the Africa show ! You're absolutely right, he threw a complete hissy fit when he got a vote over there...lol...Guess it's no surprise that he could dish it to Ethan but not take it from Rob.

Growin'up - I agree with you 100% about Rupert....I honestly think he's Rob's biggest threat right now, as I think he could probably pull Kathy, Jenna, and Shiann into an alliance...and it will all fall on Alicia and Big Tom who might see the Bonfer (lol) block as being too strong. Rupert is in GREAT shape at this point, IMO...

All - I realize Rob's a little cocky, but geez The kid is good at the game....wonder if his degree in Phsychology has anything to do with that ? Nah...he's just lying all the time, that's all it is...

He's working as a construction guy, but his degree is in psych...This is from his official Survivor biography:

Rob was born and raised in Boston. Growing up, he was very involved in athletics, especially hockey, baseball and football. He attended Xaverian Brothers High School, where he played on the varsity hockey team and helped his golf team win the state championship in 1991-92. Rob then attended Boston University, where he boxed and played rugby. In 1999, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.

Back when All Stars started, there was a DJ here who got ahold of a list of "supposedly" who was kicked off when. Someone got a hold of him and after he had read the list 2 days in a row he indicated he could not ever read it again.

What's interesting is that the 1st 2 voted off were correct. I keep trying to remember what order they were in. I remembered some. It might be accurate. I stress might.

The only scary thing was that Rob and Amber were listed as the last 2.

I really hope the rest of them were'nt stupid enough to let that happen.

I do dislike Rob, but he appears to be handling things well.

Lex had every chance to take that immunity challenge--and he faced the consequences. I was surprised that Kathy "volunteered" to give Lex immunity and then re-nigged--that was a good twist to the episode.

Last night's episode was hard for me; Lex was my fave in Africa and I was SOOOO hoping he could make it to the final 2 this time. But I was surprised how far Lex wanted to fly above the radar when he began making deals and plotting in a way that would probably come back to bite him unless he had strong showings in immunity--which he didn't here but did in Africa.

Let's face it--as long Boston Rob wins immunity, he's good to go no matter what you feel about him personally. Immunity winners do have the power in this game.
