I Had No Intentions On Going This Year . . .BUT

Ok, so I'm weak! I couldn't pass up the AP rates and I had to use my AP's one more time (they expire July 4th) soooooooo I went ahead and booked a SURPRISE trip for DD and DS for their promotion into 9th and 5th grades . . .

We are going June 20th (last day of school) and coming home June 26th. They have no idea . . .wonder if DH and I can keep the secret until then . . .

Have a great time on your trip! Even if they don't pass, you can use the APs itself as the excuse. Good rates, about to expire...hey, us Disney fans are very good at justifying trips!

Oh....good luck keeping it a secret from your kids. DH and I were just talking at the dinner table as to whether we could ever keep a trip like that a secret!

I can tell you from experience, it is not easy! We are leaving in 2 days on a total suprise trip with the kids! It is sooooo hard. Not only can you not talk about it, you have to be oh so careful packing! There is so little I can do ahead of time to get ready. Tomorrow tho is the day when I do everything! LOL
It will all be worth it tho! I can't wait to see the looks on their faces!

Good luck keeping the secret. We did a surprise trip to WDW after we cruised in August 2000. I will never forget the look on my DD's face when she realized that we weren't going straight home.

There's a growing group of DISers who will be at WDW during the last week in June. Some of us are getting together for IllumiNations and for a trip to Pleasure Island. I'm sure that as the date approaches, there will be some planning threads here on the CB.
