Hi
I had a RTA today. I cant stress this enough it was not my fault
I was driving home this morning after a night shift. I stopped at a dual carriage way junction that leads onto a roundabout I could not see the traffic coming round, as the van beside started move I was then hit at the back end of the car. The driver apologised and said he thought I had already gone.
I was in a lot of pain in my neck (but didnt want to waste ambulance time) so I did not call them. My car is a total write off. The bumper fell off and you cant hardly read the number plate. Its awful.
After getting all the details I drove the car home. By this time my neck was really bad and my head ache was making me feel sick. We went to A&E. 5 hours later and 10 x rays later they decided it was whiplash. They said that I have to take it easy for 2-4 weeks. Luckily I am off work now for 21 days. Phew. First of all they thought I had dislocated my neck so they put me in a neck brace. It still hurts now and I am on strong pain killers.
Now I have to try and sort out this car fiasco.
Not only am I upset about my neck, but I am so upset that I might not be able to go on certain rides now and I cant go to Claires karaoke night.
I only have 1 car at the moment and I am in so much pain. I dont know if I will have a car by then.
I am feeling rather sorry for myself at the moment.

and almost four months later i'm STILL WAITING for the insurance claim to be sorted out and STILL WAITING to get my car fixed (it wasn't a write off but needs a wing and a door) and almost four months later my solicitor still can't get her act together to sort it out.
and that you get better soon
