The first time I heard Kenny G Auld Lang Syne Millenium Mix my son was about 2 weeks old and I was wrapping Christmas presents on the floor while he sat in his bouncy seat sleeping, that song came on and I just totally cried hysterically and had goosebumps the entire time.
Tonight, I heard the same song by Kenny G now called Freedom Mix and the same thing happened, except my little boy was cooking pretend food and saw me crying on the sofa and just climbed up in my lap and sat with me and listened and did not say a word. After it was all over he told me what I had to do to wipe my tears away and gave me a kiss and hopped back down and finished cooking his food.
There are so many emotional events mentioned in that song. We have about 33 Christmas CD's in the player right now and they are all on shuffle so I never know when that song was going to come on.
Thanks for letting me share, do any songs do that to you?

One song that was popular when I was pregnant with my dd was Bette Midler's Wind Beneath My Wings. I used to sing it to my belly when I'd hear it on the radio.
