I had a BLT for Thanksgiving with a little Holiday & Birthday Cheer:NEW END & new PTR

Wow - what a great update!!! I love seeing all of the MK stuff together. We love touring at night too - I'm excited to have extra time in the dark in February/March since it gets dark so much earlier than May.

thanks...it was a fun post to organize and put together! yes I bet your boys will get a kick out of the dark...just make sure they "know" in advance...

So tell me about the Pirate League thing... I hadn't really considered it but after seeing how well Nathan did with it & how little make up they put on him (and he still looks like a pirate), I'm reconsidering... I'll have to show the boys pictures and see what they think. How much did it cost?

I wasn't in there w/ them...so let me get more of the inside scopp from Matt/Nathan and be able to give you a better feeling of it. But the cost is $29.99 the picture at the end I think was $16? have to ask Matt if he remembers.

Love the re-cap of all your MK days!

Love the mega MK update!!

Love the massive MK update! So fun to see it all together. The castle icicle lights are simply amazing!!

thanks guys...this was more fun to do it this way than the usual day to day thing...and yes AM the lights were unbelievable!

We might consider the Pirate League for Daniel too, the girls have had their turn with BBB so this will his turn.

I think you should!

Oooh, can't wait to hear about food! ;)

soon!

One more pirate question... (by the way the boys are enjoying looing at Nathan's pictures.) Were the black pirate pants & red shirt his own that he wore there? They look so perfect with his look that I assumed it was part of the package, but after researching a bit I'm assuming you put that together for him. :thumbsup2

yes that was his. He wore something else to the park that morning and then changed. the pants were dress pants that were getting short on him so Matt cut the bottoms to look piratey and the red shirt. we took black fabric we had around the house to make the sash around his waist. Orginally we were going to do a vest to, but ran out of time. very easy to make your own and cheaper :thumbsup2

Great MK updates!
I love Nathan's pirate makeover. Too cute!

oops Jennifer...didn't see your post at first...thanks as you can tell we love MK! and the Pirate makeover was aton of fun for him...btw a dip in the pool got all the face make-up off. Next time I think he'll want to do it first thing now that he knows what's it is all about and feels more comfotable walking around in it.

Wow! That was indeed a MEGA update!

Nathan looks great as a pirate. I'm glad he enjoyed it so much. And I love it that he played checkers with that woman. So cute!

I absolutely love your castle photos. The castle is just breath taking all lit up like that. I wish I could see that every year!

Love the MK update!!

That photo of the castle with the huge firework over top of it is just amazing!!

So glad Nathan liked the Pirate League.

The pics of you all on the peoplemover/wed way really showed how much fun you all were having!

Sitting in PVH overlooking IASW boats is now practically a must for every trip for us.

I just loved seeing all your pics ... as we sit inside seeing all the snow outside and the cold weather here, it makes me excited to go back again.

Love the mega Magic Kingdom update! So much fun was had!

I really liked the glimpse into the Pirate's League! Those Photopass pics of Nathan are great!

You may already know this, but each pirate always had his own flag to announce who he was before an attack. The one on the left is Blackbeard's (if memory serves me), and the one on the right is Calico Jack Rackham's. :thumbsup2

Stay safe Julie!!

wow -- 18"

Love the snow pics -- a picture, that is ... not the reality of it. We had enough snow for me for one season. I'm choosing to believe in Phil!:thumbsup2

Wow! That's quite a bit of snow! ;) Charles kept showing me pictures last night of the cars and such buried in Chicago. Craziness!

we are...day 2 of snow days...major frezzing temps today, Matt made it out to work. my parents had 4 foot drifts in front of their house and 20 inches of snow just 4 surburbs over.

yes...bit more than your snow fiasco huh :rotfl: the cars burried on Lake Shore Drive...is just nutty, couldn't believe it. this road is right next to the lake, have no clue what the city was thinking keeping that open cars were still stuck in there last night and people have no clue where their cars are...:headache:

glad to not be in that mess.

Ouch!! Hope Matt stays safe. Enjoy the time with your kids!

people have no clue where their cars are...:headache:

I know that's really sad but it is a teeny bit funny, too! I can just see people going -- is this my car? Let's dig it out ...Oops, not mine!:scared1:

WOW that's a lot of snow!! 18 inches, that is insane!! I remember those days from living in Alaska, glad I'm living in the south now LOL!!!!!!

Looks like the kids are having a lot of fun though! Hope they enjoyed the snow day!!!

yes the novelty has worn off for now...we'll see about fort building this weekend :thumbsup2 Matt & Nathan are actually camping in it

Looks like the kids had a great time in the swimming pool. I am sure you will love to wake up the cold weather in Chicago, and then only by a few hours after the warm pool.

hi :wave2: I'll take the pool over this snow anyday

Love the snow pics!

I am SO sore today from shoveling our driveway yesterday!

I hear you and isn't there more coming in the forcast next week...tomorrow I will venture out in it to get kids to school, the grocery store  and other appts. my sil stopped by today and said some spots ok but other places you can't even see around the piles to turn....

Those two flags are also the flags for two of the members of the Brethren court from the third pirates movie. The one on the left with the skeleton stabbing the heart is Villenuva's flag the Pirate lord of the Adriatic Sea and the one on the right with the skull and swords is Capitan Hector Barbossa's the pirate lord of the Caspian Sea.

:thumbsup2 nice

really enjoying this Pirate trivia!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the MK montage! What great memories! :thumbsup2

Hope you are digging out of all that snow! We were forecasted to get hit too, but the storm went JUST north and we ended up with only 6-8 inches. My boys got a snow day out of it, so they were thrilled! ;)
