I have yet to figure how we're supposed to get out of a hole by digging it deeper.

I'm reminded of when I was a kid we were often told that if we dug a hole deep enough we would end up in China. Perhaps that was more of a philisophical prediction than we thought.

Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are relevant as long as there are rabid conservatives who enjoy the toxic garbage that they send out over the airwaves each day.

Is there some truth to the things that they say. Absolutely. However, they thrive on splitting this country right down the middle. And they have. The more upset and anger that they cause, the happier that they are (and the higher their ratings go....and the richer they get).

YES! Because we all know that Keith Olberman's daily Worst Person in the World is all about spreading the love.

This is exactly what I heard on an independent station the other day. Listening to these blowhards on the left or right do not do anything but cause divisiveness. They shout out talking points to get everyone riled up, but they don't offer solutions.

Actually, Rush Limbaugh offers many common sense solutions, in my opinion, of course.

One other thing, in my opinion, the inference that Obama made, that Republicans/conservatives gather all their facts and base all their opinions and actions, based on info given from commentators such as Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, is VERY offensive, as well as partisan, but par for the course for Obama, and those who adore him.

I wanted him to succeed with all my heart.

I do not understand why as a country we are so devided.

Quite often I can see both sides of the coin. If fact I often see the another side of the coin (the edge).

Sometimes both sides some have very good points and often the best solution is a combination of the two sides.

It is too bad that some are too blinded by the light to see the other side.

I agree it would have been much more paletable and PC if Obama had said ,"You JUST can't listen to Talk Radio shows and get much done."

I actually think he may have been kidding around trying to make a light joke but he has to learn that every word he says is going to be scrutinized, statements will be taken out of context,etc. Unfortately it has happened to our past Presidents and it will happen to him too.

I think our people are going to be even harder on President Obama because our country is in finanical turmoil and our people are really scared.

If that is true the conservatives ought to hope and insist that Limbaugh is not relevant. The cult of personality harms any movement it's a part of. When a pastor becomes more important than his message, for example, the whole point is subverted.

You know many Liberals hang on the words and actions of Michael Moore and I find him to be vile and disgusting. But that is my opinion so I choose not watch his movies or visit his Bush hating website.
