This is my second trip of the year and I keep waiting for Disney to cancel or something, but it appears that I'm going in less than 2 weeks and I've yet to pack.

I originally set up my trip so I could extend it to go to Sea World and Busch Gardens. I really wanted to ride Iron Gwazi and Ice Breaker, but it looks like their openings have been pushed back until next year. So I guess I'll have to adjust my plans accordingly for my May 2022 trip.

So I'll be at Disney World for either 9 or 10 days, depending on how I feel. I'm driving dow as a solo traveler and I have an Annual Pass, so it's not that big of a deal.

I have 8 nights at Disney's Riviera Resort. The first night I get there I'll be staying wherever I can as well as the last night if I decide to extend. It should be interesting. I have a ticket to the Halloween Party as well as a DVC sneak preview of Remy scheduled, so that should be really fun.

I didn't really schedule many ADRs because I don't really know what I want to do. I guess I'm just a little surprised that I'm actually going.

Right Now my plan looks like this:

Day 1: Work/Travel
Day 2: Travel/Epcot
Day 3: Arrival at Riviera/Animal Kingdom
Day 4: Disney's Hollywood Studios
Day 5: Magic Kingdom/Liberty Tree Dinner/Boo Bash
Day 6: Epcot
Day 7: Disney's Hollywood Studios
Day 8: Magic Kingdom
Day 9: Topolino's Breakfast/Magic Kingdom
Day 10: Animal Kingdom
Day 11: Extra Day at Magic Kingdom
Day 12: Travel

...It's all subject to change. Honestly, I'll definitely be moving stuff around. I want my last day will be at Animal Kingdom regardless.

Anxious to hear all about your trip! Sounds like a great touring plan of the parks!

Day 1 & 2: Work and Travel

603966

This is the least prepared I’ve ever been for a Disney trip. I just didn’t expect it to happen, but the park is open so I’m going.

Work wasn’t too bad and the first half of the drive was ok. When I woke up, I saw 9 new Corvettes going to their new homes.

I guess I’ll find out what I’m doing when I get there. Tonight I’m going to Epcot.

Day 2: Extra Time at Epcot

So the drive wasn’t too bad. I got on the road at 8am and I got to Epcot by 5pm. It was more crowded than I anticipated, but it’s a Saturday Night at Epcot, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. As I got there, I noticed a lot of locals were pulling in, so I don’t know if this is going to be indicative of the trip or not.

So I had to activate my DVC AP today, which was a little weird. They honored the price and said that I’m keeping my photo pass, but I’m on the new system? So my understanding is that all that really changes is my blackout dates and my time starts in September instead of July. I guess we’ll see.

I had dinner at Regal Eagle, which was good. I was able to ride quite a bit today. The only thing I didn’t get to was Mission Space, which I don’t care for anyway.

I appreciated that the distancing restrictions were gone and that the single rider lane at Test Track was back. The removal of all the plastic was really nice.

Also fireworks.

Overall, it was a pretty good day. Tomorrow I check in at Riviera and go to Animal Kingdom.
