I got my first pin!!

Just wondering - at the bottom of the e-mail it says something like "The number of rooms available at this savings is limited. Book by 2/28/10". We aren't quite ready to book yet - still want to discuss our options, plus there's been some uncertainty with my fiance's job as they're laying some people off, so we want to wait a little and see how that plays out. How often have people called to book their PIN offer and it's been full? Does that happen regularly?

It has been known to be full with pins. It depends on when you want to go, what place you want to stay and where everyone else in the world is trying to stay that week. My suggestion would be to make a tentative plan/budge and book while the codes are still pretty open. you have 45 days from the check in date to cancel w/ no penalty. Actually w/ that being room only ressies you may have until the day before, that was the policy in the past but I havn't checked on room only policies in a while. The prevoius deposit for room only was only one nights charge to hold the room.

We just got this PIN today

So now we actually may go back right after school gets out in June. We are going to do some resort exploring while we are there in a couple of weeks and maybe stray from the Poly. I also want to see what the bounceback offer is??

This is our third 40% off PIN.

Our first trip in 2007 we paid paid rack rate, dining plan, the whole Magic your way package thing. Total rookies!

As soon as we got back they sent our first 40% PIN and we booked for Dec 2008. Then we got another PIN back in July and booked for our upcoming trip in a few weeks.

I think next to our name Disney has "suckers" listed

BTW, we are not AP holders, we do have a Disney Visa. This pin came is DH name, but the trip we have booked now is under my name.

I also received this pin and was not able to get the site to accept it, as PP had mentioned.

Has anyone had luck with using the PIN online?

Also, we do not have AP and do not have the Disney Visa - just visit every spring. This pin could save us a significant amount of $$$! Purchasing a new car tomorrow and we were planning on doing a mod in 2010 because of that...looks like we can do our deluxe now!

I just booked with this pin! I didn't try doing it online though, I booked over the phone. We're booked May 5-12, so excited!! Now i just have to try to save the money before March 21

I got that same pin just now & I got the one from Disney Visa yesterday and can't use either!!! Hoping to go in August but braces for my son may put the brakes on any vacation for us next year!

How does Visa let you know, email, letter? I just got my card a month ago, but haven't received any specials yet.

I've never put much stock in the order a DVD get a PIN theory because for years I ordered DVDs and never got a code. But this year everyone I know who ordered the DVD, including the one I ordered in my son's name, got a PIN within a few weeks of ordering. If you haven't ordered one lately, I would do it now. It's can't hurt.

I also got one. My first one! We are not AP holders and we live in Canada We are going just after Xmas and are looking at going back in May for DD's 6th birthday and our dollar is almost on par.

I got this code, and booked us for June 5-12 at the Poly! Not a Disney Visa card holder, but I did order a new vacation planning DVD about two weeks ago and listed our vacation dates as June 2010.

Hi All! I wanted to add that I received this Pin the day after my husband got his. It came to 2 different email addresses I have. Also, my Mom received it too! I really hope that we'll be able to go, but I'm expected baby #2 at the end of November, so I'm not sure how I feel about doing Disney with a "newborn" and a 3 year old...someone convince me to go for it! I did a quick peek at rates and I've always wanted to try WL and we could go there for $144/night in early February with the PIN..hmmmm...now what to do!

I got one in 2 separate email accounts in my Mom's name. ONE time I ordered something for her through the disney store online and used my email address. She had dial-up at home and is a teacher and it was summer break. I have gotten a pin code every time they have been released recently for her. I have asked them to change the information please. I told them that the next time I get one, I will be asking to use it instead. WE are planning in Aug of 2010.

I got this PIN as well, not an AP holder, but frequent Disney vacationers!! We were thinking of going to the beach in June, but now we'll have to reconsider! Disney sure knows how to hook us, don't they???!!!!

I just got this PIN a few minutes ago. I’m not an AP holder, and I don’t have a Disney Visa. I leave for WDW next Monday, and it’s nice to know I can think about booking my next trip before I’ve even taken my current one! This is my third year getting a 40% PIN.
