i got it!!!!

Just changed our WL woodsview reservation (3/16 - 3/23) from AAA rate to $175/night using code BDP. 7 nights total with AAA was $2209 and now we are at $1356 - yahoo!!! I was so surprised this was available during Spring Break.

Also asked about Contemporary Tower rooms but only Suites were available. Polynesian GV was avail at $291 before tax. Really want one of these but I guess I'll wait and see if any AP rates come out.

Good luck to everyone still trying!

I just got the same rates for WL for starting date of April 1- April 5 CV is $198 + tax. It's what we had two weeks ago and the view is great. FYI, I checked on Monday and that same room was pricing ~375/night :earseek: :earseek:

Contemporary had garden wing rooms for ~240/night during those dates if anyone is interested.

Total time on the phone just now <17 minutes

Goin back but afriad to post a counter cause then my kids'll know..............

Yeah!! Finally got a helpful cm on my 3rd call. Got Pop for $55 for the 10-13 of january !! Had to split up my ressies and pay rack ratefor the 7-10 because of the marathon. more money for shopping!!!:Pinkbounc

Yesterday I worked so hard to get that AP rate, and what do I do today but change it to the BDP rate! The BDP rate was only $10 more per night (AKL Con. 2/16) and I was on the fence about buying the AP just below the break even point so I couldn't justify it.

I called at 7:00, and I was on hold for 59 minutes, but that's okay because I'm now paying $40 less, and looking forward to Savannah View instead of Parking Lot View. Mind you, it was a bit of a challenge getting ready for work with the cordless stuck to my ear.

Kungaloosh!
Morticia.

Woohoo! Thanks to the person who posted BDP rates today. I got it!!

Was on the phone a few minutes after 6 (my time.) On hold for an HOUR, while trying to get ready for work, and then got disconnected. Gahh!!! Called back, held for 30 more minutes, finally got through and got our ASMo ressie down to $55/night for 2/2-2/6. :bounce:

I think that I have now heard, just this morning, every Disney song ever made... at least 5 times each. LOL Zippadee doo dah, zippadee ay... :teeth:

YEA!!!! I called back & got the first 2 nights at All Stars Movies then Pop for the remaining 5 nights! Now I'm Happy!!!:Pinkbounc

For the campsites at FW there are no AP codes for the value season.

For the campsites at FW there are no General Codes for the value season “room only”, but the code (BDP) does work for packages.

I was looking for the dates of 1/28 thur 2/1 for my IL’s. They don’t need the tickets/package, so it looks like we are staying w/ the rack rate on the campsites for them.

But yesterday I booked the cabins for my family.

Figures on the campsites :-(

However, I would check the www.disneyworld.com website. They have a link called "save on your winter resort" or something to that effect. It is not active yet, but I was able to get a discount for December on the website at the campsites when nothing else would work.

You said there were discounts for the campsites on packages?? See if they'll let you book a "basic package" at the campsite with a discount. It is only 3 nights, and includes WWOS or mini-golf, and has the more restrictive cancellation policies, but if your sure they are going, why not. Since it can only be booked for three nights, you may have to book "multiple packages", to get all your nights, and one or two nights at rack rate.

Called the 800# at 10am - on hold for less than 5 minutes. Got WL for 1/17-1/19.

FYI - Using the BDP code, I was quoted the following rates (Including 11% tax & fees) - for value season

Courtyard - $169.50/night
Woods - $154/night
Standard - $132.50/night

Hey. I got in immediately and changed my 3/12-3/18 trip from AAA at Pop Century to BDP. I got $79 a night. Much better than the $110 I had with AAA. It will save me about $100 on my trip. I can breath easy now. Nothing much left to do except wait until time to make PS.

Wow!!! It sounds like some of you got *BOTH* discounts, AAA rate off the code, like a double discount? Is that possible??
That would be amazing, but i didn't think to ask my CM this morning.

Still pleased with $20 extra off per night, consdering it's PEAK, starting the day after Easter.

Does this sound good:

POP- $91 for Preferred room?

I got Pop Century for $79 a night April 6-12. I told CM I thought it should be $55 with the code, but since it's during Spring Break, rack rate is $109, so it's still a pretty good savings. We already have our plane tickets, so we can't change dates. I got up at 6am today (central) to make this reservation, and gave up after being on hold for an hour. Just called back at 11am and got right through!

finally got thru after an hour on hold

CSR Standard view $114

was also quoted

WL Woods View $175

and

Poly GV $291

This is for 3/26-4/2

sskem96, is $79 for a standard room?
A standard during Easter week is $81 but i wanted Preferred, which was $10 more.

Funny there would be $2 difference, but regardless, i'm super excited!!

I too used BDP and got AKL for the last couple of nights in "Peak" season. I got Deluxe Bunkbeds Savannah View (sleeps 5) for $317 and regular Savannah view (for the Grandparents) for $206. Basically, we saved a few hundred for the two nights we're there; not a great deal, but a pretty good one for "peak" season, and a savings of about $80 a night on the deluxe room and $90 on the regular one.

Good thing AKL is our fav', isn't it?
