At 2:58 pm today I received the pin code email. We've been going to WDW since 1992 and this is the first one. Funny thing is, we already have reservations for Oct 22-29 with no discount. I can't believe they would give me the opportunity to pay less money. I'm so excited I don't want to go to bed. I want to stay up until reservations open so I can call! Does anyone who has already called know the rates for the different level? My beloved email quoted a price for value but said to call and get rates for other resorts. It's going to be a long night.

I got the e-mail code too and I already have a trip booked in October as well. I had my TA call and see about it as we have a 6 night trip booked at a mod resort with tickets and dining. She was able to save us over $400 with that code so good luck!

Hi! Just a quick question. I have a vacation planned for Sept. With a pin code is this the same pin code or something different? My pin got a moderate for $104.00 a night which included tax? I just did not know if it was worth calling and seeing if I had this code attached to my name? and or if it were a better deal or not. Does this make any sence? By the way my travel dates are 9/2-9/8. PS I did not get free dining since I booked this trip on June 25. Thanks for any info. Chris :dance3:

The new pin codes are for arrival Sep 30 and later

Can anyone tell me what resort categories are included?

I will let you know on this thread as soon as I can get through to CRO. Their system is down until later this afternoon. I'm so impatient and anxious to talk to them that I'm actually cleaning my house to keep busy:laundy:

I called in yesterday & received a quote with my e-mail code (that I didn't receive... I just called & asked if there was anything with my name associated with it - and there was!!!

10 nights in POP century standard room, tickets, dining & insurance (for 2 adults) I am saving $565 with my code!!!

I'm so excited & cannot wait till October 11.

I finally got through Sunday morning. I already had reservations at WL but could not get those with the discount because those rooms were already booked :confused3 but she checked all of the resorts and although there were rooms available, all of the discounted rooms had been sold. I didn't have the strength to argue. Then, get this, I decided to change to POR and the only way I could get a waterview was to add dining. Otherwise all I could get was a standard view. As far as I could tell, we saved 40-45 dollars per night from the regular mod rate. I couldn't get the CM to tell me the rate per night. But, she did say all categories were included.

Its such a bummer when you cant use the code the way you want. Seems the codes and pins are sold out long before most even receive them. Rather than sending so many out for the same date range, I wonder if it would work better if they narrowed the date ranges and spread them out....

I feel like I was tossed a bone but my leash won't let me near it!

Are the only codes (pin, etc) only coming out by email and if so where do they say they are from and the subject listed?Just want to make sure I don't over look anything.Thanks.

I bet! I called with the FL Res code a few months ago and knew I needed a 3 day weekend in July and I wanted BWI. The CM was great, but he kept suggesting everything but BWI. I finally asked him to let me know if that code was available in July at all for BW and he finally found availability for me, the last weekend of July! I couldnt believe it! Of course, we really wanted BW view, but all they had was standard! LOL

It seems like the codes are only useful when your dates are reeeely flexible. :confused3

Personally, if they send you a code, I think they should have to honor it if there is any availability at all, but thats just me =)

Has anyone answered the question, what is the subject line of these codes, or is that taboo? If not the subject, who is the sender? I get emails from Disney all the time...DisneyInsider, Disney@Go, DisneyVacations...but what address do the pins actually come from?

Thanks!

Personally, I think if they send these codes out to anyone for no reason other than marketing, they should be avaialble to the general public. That however, is an entirely different topic all together.:)

Good point :thumbsup2

Well, I'm disappointed, we had a pin code "associated to our home address" but it was only 5% and we had to book a package even though the 5% was for the room portion only. :confused3

I'm just sticking with what I've already booked unless they come out with a better code for the general public...5% just isn't worth going through the trouble of changing everything. :sad1:

What kind of deal is anyone else getting???
