I got It!!! I got Sheraton Vistana on Skyauction!!!

I am kind of surprised that the Falls has buildings with three floors. From what I saw there were only two.
Bella,
The Falls does only have 2 floors. Here's a couple pics of the outside of the Falls :

Mia,

OMG I must be losing my mind I could swear Photobearsam wrote that they confirmed him for the Falls not Fountains. I just rechecked it and it said Fountains.

I think the photos you hve of the falls is one building down from our building. We were right near the bridge.

lol....me too....so I sent the wrong pics ! If that was your Falls building, I was pleasently suprised. I was impressed with how beautiful the grounds were. Did you take inside pics of the Falls Bella ?
If Photobear wants to see the Fountains, I'll be happy to post them as well.

Hey Photobear, total newbie here, I'm getting really excited about my family's FIRST DISNEY VACATION. It will be me(34), DH(33), DD(10)and DS(7) and none of us have ever been to DisneyWorld ! We have 7 day ParkHopper and 1 day at Sea World. We check into the Vistana on Friday, October 28 ! I'm glad you posted about the different sections, now I know what to ask for too!

SEE YA THERE!

As I said, I was not allowed to use the camera (obnoxious 17 year old tech geek had it) and even though I TOLD him to take photos he insisted on taking vidoes on the digital camera. I thought we had pix but NO!!

that's a shame ! :sad2: Maybe next visit !

I am envious that your are going so soon, but happy for you. I have to wait until April, but I guess that gives me something to plan for.

Glad to hear that you got it! We just returned from there. We were there last Nov. with my inlaws and stayed in the fountains. This time we got Cascades. I do agree with the fountains being quite a bit larger. Since, it was just 4 adults, we didn't need the bigger unit and preferred the newer unit.

Great location, across the street from the Cascades pool/bar.
Our rate included housekeeping which was nice.

Had a "not so great experience" checking in. We signed up for Diamond lane, and we got there a little before 1pm. They said it would be ready at 1:20, come back.. We came back at 1:30, told us our room wasn't ready, but the room next door was and we could take that. So we said ok, went over and walked into a filthy room (never been cleaned) made a few phone calls they told us to go over to our original room, that they were just finishing up cleaning and someone would bring new keys right up.
After 3 phone calls and speaking with a manager twice our keys finally arrived over 2 1/2 hrs later. Everytime I called, I said I'd come down or we'd get them later and they'd say "someone is on there way now, give them 15-20min"
Also, if ordering "drinks on special" make sure to double check prices with bartenders. We went down for margarita's and they charged us full price, when I showed her the brochure with the drink specials she said "hmm didn't know about that"
I say pack your own hairdryer, and if you have housekeeping they brought us more dish washer detergent/coffee/towels/dish towels.

On a brighter note upon arrival there was no line at either counters for check in :earsboy:

I also brought the map home with me that has all the check in days for various villas, schedules, and what is available where...

Sorry to sound like a downer, the resort was beautiful, and we had a great time. Just wanted to let someone know in case they could avoid any of these things happen to them.

There is a new Super Walmart not even 2mi down the road on 535 on your right. (Its set a little back off the road) :moped:

I just edited it! :wizard:

Congratulations, I just returned home this weekend from the same exact trip via Skyauction. We checked in on a Friday with no wait at all and had a 2 bedroom unit in Cascades section. It was very clean and I had no complaints about it. However I do have to say that their timeshare people and presentation's leave alot to be desired. Beware. Other than that have a great time.

That's why some of the numbers weren't adding up ! With this taken into consideration, seems like you're numbers are pretty much right on. My experience, is that Vistana keeps to this pretty well if you're checking in on a Fri/Sat/Sun. For those that check-in midweek, anything goes.

I am trying to locate Vistana on skyauction maybe I am doing it wrong. anyone care to help me out.. We stayed there in Oct/Nov 2004 and loved it.. Michelle

Thanks I found it when I didn't include a date.. Michelle
