2026 Hotel bookings

I have been holding my breath and waiting for the hotel bookings for 2026 to open. When does Disneyland typically open their new year bookings. I know DW like the back of my hand, but am now needing to learn DL.

Late August/Early September,

The last couple of years it was sometime in August. They open the whole year at once though, unlike WDW that sometimes does half the year at a time.

It is always late August/early September as I stated previously. Disneyland's website is not as fast and efficient as WDW's.

i know we still have a month or more but im eager to see prices to see when our first 2026 trip will be, we usually go around march-april and have dcl alaska in may so looking to do march probably since easters early april

It is crazy to have to wait so long to book for the following year. I'm booking early January and like to plan trips early so to not be able to book it just odd to me. Hopefully they open in late August and not wait until September this year. I'm booking our last trip with MKs so I definitely want to stay on property.

You wont gain or miss anything by having to wait vs booking now

You can still plan everything minus paying lol

Note that starting Janaury 5, 2026 Disneyland will be eliminating the Early Entry program. Instead, guests staying at GCH, DLH, or PPH will receive one LL ticket for an attraction of their choice.

Whoa. That will save me major money for my January trip. We are hard core early entry when we stay on site knocking out many rides in that 30 minute period. My daughter will be super bummed, but my wallet won't, as it was a 5 night trip as our passes expire shortly after.

So excited now that 2026 bookings have opened...we are now reserved at GCH for a week next year! It's been 50 years since my last visit to Disneyland and can't wait to see it again.
