Glad to hear that you got it! We just returned from there. We were there last Nov. with my inlaws and stayed in the fountains. This time we got Cascades. I do agree with the fountains being quite a bit larger. Since, it was just 4 adults, we didn't need the bigger unit and preferred the newer unit.
Great location, across the street from the Cascades pool/bar.
Our rate included housekeeping which was nice.
Had a "not so great experience" checking in. We signed up for Diamond lane, and we got there a little before 1pm. They said it would be ready at 1:20, come back.. We came back at 1:30, told us our room wasn't ready, but the room next door was and we could take that. So we said ok, went over and walked into a filthy room (never been cleaned) made a few phone calls they told us to go over to our original room, that they were just finishing up cleaning and someone would bring new keys right up.
After 3 phone calls and speaking with a manager twice our keys finally arrived over 2 1/2 hrs later. Everytime I called, I said I'd come down or we'd get them later and they'd say "someone is on there way now, give them 15-20min"
Also, if ordering "drinks on special" make sure to double check prices with bartenders. We went down for margarita's and they charged us full price, when I showed her the brochure with the drink specials she said "hmm didn't know about that"
I say pack your own hairdryer, and if you have housekeeping they brought us more dish washer detergent/coffee/towels/dish towels.
On a brighter note upon arrival there was no line at either counters for check in
I also brought the map home with me that has all the check in days for various villas, schedules, and what is available where...
Sorry to sound like a downer, the resort was beautiful, and we had a great time. Just wanted to let someone know in case they could avoid any of these things happen to them.
There is a new Super
Walmart not even 2mi down the road on 535 on your right. (Its set a little back off the road)
