I got CRT this morning

Can't believe it! I wasn't really even calling for CRT. I was going to call to get PSB this morning for 10/1, but my cat happened to wake me up right at 7am, so I got right on the phone and, just on a lark, asked if they had anything available for CRT and the guy said yes, so I took it! I haven't decided if I'll alter my touring plans or just cxl this one if I get a PS for 10/2 (which is the day I really want). Please don't flame me, I just got seized by a panic at the thought of being shut out later in the week and being left with no CRT. And I won't book PSB for 10/1 until I'm sure I'm going to cxl CRT.

I did get caught off guard by them asking for the booking # or phone # during the phone prompting, though. This must be a relatively new change.

Congratulations! And I don't anyone here who has been through the experience of getting a CRT PS would flame you for hanging onto what you've got until you find out if you can get the date you really want. It's not like you're going to hold it indefinitely, and some lucky soul will be thrilled to get it if you end up putting it back into the pool!

You did the right thing for sure, don't worry if you get the day you want you'll have to cancel the ones you won't want and some hopeful person who didn't call 90 days out will get that released PS.

Wish my cat was timely like that, she likes the 4am thing better, ugh!! I have to call on a Saturday myself...always seems like the 90 day out thing falls on the weekend! Although I think that is sometimes to our advantage!!

congrats on getting PS at CRT. there must be something in the air because i got PS at CRT, too, this morning. isn't that something? i'm still jumping for joy on getting through and getting PS at CRT.

Update - I called in again today (being that I REALLY wanted a PS for 10/3), got right through and got my PS! Woo-hoo! I was then able to get my PS for PSB for 10/1, which was also what I really wanted. I will, of course, be cancelling my 10/1 CRT PS, but wanted to see if any DIS'ers needed it so we could coordinate our phone calls. Please let me know if anyone's interested.
