I got carded

I got carded buying spray paint the other day! Apparently, you have to be 17 or 18 or something to buy spray paint. So I'm going to have a baby in less than 2 months (hopefully closer to one month ), and I guess I look like I'm still in high school.

DH thought it was outrageously funny when I told him, since I'm not even going to <i>use</i> the spray paint myself, since it's off limits for pregnant people, much less inhale it.

LOL! I was carded until I was 31, Amy, so I can definitely relate!

I used to get sooo insulted but it does get easier the older you get!

I got carded today at Super Target & I have 2 sons in college!LOL!
Apparently they do this for anyone buying alcohol...I told the check out "girl' I was old enough to be her Mother.

Feels good now, doesn't it??? I still can't believe when I went to Pleasure Island back in 2000 I was carded!!! I mean, to borrow an expression from Snoopy, get real!!!!

wait till your my age (high 40something) and the kid at the window gives you the senior citizen discount. This happened to me on the way thru the mcdonalds drive up.
