I got an e-mail from Guest Communications...UPDATE Post 58

Besides everything mentioned, for the love of all things, PLEASE figure out a way to get rid of the ghost FPs in MDE.

DisneyMountainWoman, not sure if you have heard they are going to start testing prebooking for off-site guest soon. Check out this thread for more info.

Yes I saw that, it looks promising but who knows if it is just a glitch or they may do it for a week and decide no we do not like it, etc.... you just never know with them right now. So I am not holding my breath but I do see a silver lining finally for off site guests.

I don't mind the sound of fp+, so I would just ask to be able to use in more than one park, end the tiering, and add a 4th. Otherwise, I like the idea.
I like FP+, but I think if Disney can make these changes, it could go a long way towards placating many guests. The tiering didn't affect us all that much, but I could see how it would some people.

5 FP+ reservations for the MK, to echo what others have said, there is just way, way more to do there than any of the other parks. The other parks, 3 is fine, BUT, I would also like the ability to choose the same ride twice, especially in Hollywood Studios. I want 2 ToT and 1 RnRR, or the opposite.

I also think DVC OWNERS, (not people renting points), should get unlimited, all parks FP. I'm not even a DVC owner, and I firmly believe this. With the excessive amount those people pour into WDW property, they deserve it. The ability to pool hop just isn't enough of a perk for them. They deserve more.

give 4 to MK.

allow park hoppers to select 1 more fp at that park once on site.

raise prices during peak season. the parks are too popular and this will help with crowd control.

you have to keep tiers, it is basically an informal acknowledgment they don't have enough good rides in those parks. Tell them to hurry up and add a couple more tier one rides.

We were there the week of November 16, 2013 & LOVED the Fast Pass Plus, so I don't have any negative comments. LOVED it!!!

Shouldn't this survey reflect YOUR opinions of the FastPass+ system? Guest Communications isn't asking the DISBoards collective for their opinion. Tell them how YOU honestly felt. If you didn't have a bad experience, tell them you had a good experience. If you have your own suggestions, tell them your personal suggestions. It's not your job to survey everyone here for opinions.

Based on what is posted by several on the Dis, they need to make sure that the app works for people on their phones. I think the thing that bothers me the most that I have read is that if you change your mind and want to do a different park one day, you are SOL if you don't access MDE in your hotel room first.

PLEASE mention: Stop forcing us to take 3 FP+ when we prebook! This will help everyone, as at least some of us are booking FP+ we almost certainly will not use (and which someone else might want).

Being able to pick up more on the actual day. I can see where they have to limit the number in advance so that everyone can get their share but how about more when you are at the park and have used your advance ones up. Or at a second park.

This is where I'm at. I think they have to keep the current limitations on advance booking (yes, even the tiers) so all the "good stuff" isn't snapped up at 60 days out, but...

Once you've entered a park, it would be great if you could get more FP+ within that park, including for repeat rides and/or the headliners you couldn't pre-book. Even if you had to do it at a kiosk. I would not make it contingent on using your prebooked FP+ first. This would also help with the park-hopping issue if you could prebook 3 at your pm/evening park and still hit a different park at RD and use FP+ within the park there.

:thumbsup2 LOL, well not that I think it would happen, but hey, I'll go for that. LOL

OP, are they calling you for suggestions or to answer your questions? I'd be asking some questions as to the current status of the system and how different it might look in the future according to the plans they already have set in place. See if you can get some semblance of an answer out of them.

I have a foot condition that does OK when walking but the standing for long periods in line is very painful for me. This is why I loved FP-. I don't mind the wait but it is the standing in line that I can't do. If a line is over 30 minutes I have to pass. This makes me very concerned about future trips with a limit of 3 fast passes each day. I guess we will do rope drop each day to make it work but this means we won't be eating any table service breakfast meals.

Option for texts instead of email for ride notifications.

Kiosks should be able to do everything the APP does- when you are in the park and want to change parks for FP+ you can't do it on Kiosks.

Improved wifi, many people are from other countries or are using other types of devices that rely on wifi, the app is unusable on wifi.

I understand what you are saying. I too can walk all day but if I have to stand still it doesn't take long for my feet to be more pain that I like to deal with. The paper FPs worked well at keeping me from standing still for long periods. And standing in lines moving a few steps every minute or so is the same as standing still for me.

Yes!! If they are going to force everyone onto this system then the system should at least accurately show what you have reserved!

Also, get rid of the forced 2 hour block after an ADR time. If I want to chance it and set up one an hour later, I should be able to!

I tried asking questions about what the system would look like in the future, and they were all dodged around. No real answers given on anything

JMO, but if I were the one speaking to you and you could not offer real examples of how each of your complaints negatively impacted your vacation, I would dismiss them out of hand.

Ditto on being able to book additional FP once in the park, similar to the old system.

I am highly ticked off that if I park hop, I can't get any FP in the other park. That really chaffs.

We used about 6 FP per day and this system severely limits us.

As a Swan/Dolphin guest, I want a magic band.

Thank you so much for asking us for input. It's incredibly kind of you.

Yep. Saying how you think the system doesn't work with no first hand knowledge will get your complaint tossed into the old circular file. Complaing when you have not had a negative experience is not complaining. It is whining.

We are DVC owners and, while I would love this, I really don't think it's necessary. When we translate the cost of our points into dollars, the cost of staying in a DVC resort is about 25-30% of what it would cost to rent the same unit as a non-owner. And, that advantage has grown since we purchased because the annual dues have increased at a slower rate than the general increase in Disney resort accommodations.

But, if Disney wants to offer more perks I will accept them gratefully.
