I got an All Stars coupon code! Did you?

I just got a coupon code e-mail. I can't tell you the last time I saw a coupon code. Unfortunately, it's for dates I can't use it and they're non-transferrable.

Now the question is -- did I get it because I spent so much time on the phone with CRO last weekend, or are they going out generally now?

In any case, if you want a coupon code, try calling CRO and asking a lot of questions even if you're not ready to book. Maybe you'll get one, too.

Mine was for 10/23-11/23 ($84) and 11/27-12/25/05 ($64).

I got a coupon code email for value resorts with those same dates and prices, and I haven't called Disney in well over a year. I'm registered at the Disney Catalog and have ordered a bunch lately--that's why I thought I got it.

I got this e-mail on Sept. 30th. The funny thing is, I haven't called CRO at all and currently have a DVC reservation for Feb. Guess they're trying to entice me to come sooner. Now that I got this offer I probably won't get one for the one night in Feb. that we will be paying cash.

I'd go near Christmas if they plane fare wasn't $300 per person

There are five of us, so we would need two rooms. That and the drive is about 22 hours for us so, hotel for there and back, gas, tickets for five, it all adds up. We were in the very early stages of planning to go next Dec. I wish we could do both, but I just don't see it happening.

What's the rate on the cards? I'm just curious. Every time I've ever gotten one, I couldn't use it either. We've never stayed at All Stars either, but that's all they ever seem to send me.

Mine doesn't say All Stars, but it does come with a pin code and says it isn't transferable.

It says the rates are available most nights so there are some nights it must not include.

Can these pin codes be applied to mods or deluxes? Just asking.... more like dreaming...

We got it too-I got mine about an hour ago but my husband got one I think Friday (we were in Disney till Sunday so I'm not 100% sure when he got it). I think the rates are $84 for regular season and $64 for value season (though I'm not looking at it right now so I could be wrong). We just took a trip last weekend (and paid less than the code anyway) and our Christmas trip is at a lower rate than the code would give us so we won't be able to use the e-mail this time, but I'm hoping for one for Feb or March.

I've never gotten one for anything but the value resorts. Has anyone else? It doesn't matter though, every time I've gotten one, it's been at a time we couldn't go anyway.

I got one too. There certainly isn't much advance notice to use it and it states it's for value resorts only.

We've gotten and used other pin codes before and when we call up to use it we ask about other resorts and have always been able to stay in any 'class' of resort with the code. For example, we got a code that said it was for a moderate (specifically POR) last year and we used it for our trip in April but we stayed at AKL and CR-tower with the code.
