I got Accepted!!! But I'm not excited just yet...

I got accepted for Spring 2010 Merchandise!!!!!!!!

On the other hand... my best friend got a pending letter today...
This is something we were planning to do together from the start. Tell me, is this pending letter the equivalent of being put on a wait list because it says you'll hear back by December 1st. I have till October 6th to accept but I don't want to do it if my friend doesn't get in, I would apply for the next session. I don't know what to do! I want to celebrate but I can't!

i've heard of people getting the pending letter and getting accepted in as little as a week later! so just hang in there

Same thing happened to me and my girlfriend last semester.

I waited out the acceptance thing until the last day. Then I waited out paying the fee until the last day. She still hadn't heard yet, so I paid it. In the end she didn't get in and I just e-mailed the recruiter and told them I wouldn't be able to go. The fee was non refundable but they said it wouldn't affect my chances of getting in next time. So... My advice is wait it out as long as you can. Like NicoleRose said, some people get accepted a week later.

Pending is perfectly normal... me and my friend both got pending and got in. Heck, I'm surprised that people DONT get pending letters more often these days!

Thanks guys! That's great to hear! I hope he gets accepted soon, I would hate to accept the offer and then decline it.... Yikes, I thought I would be so happy when I got accepted but I'm more nervous than ever! I would have rather gotten declined than have to say no because of my friend...

me and my friend are in the same situation...she got accepted almost 2 weeks ago (2 weeks this tuesday so she has to accept soon) but i havent heard a peep from Disney and its been 4 weeks and 2 days as of today...so i know where youre at lol good luck to your friend though

Agh, still nothing... And I have to accept tomorrow. Man this is rough.
My friend is wondering if his chances would increase if he emailed them saying he would be happy to work as QSFB. He didn't check this off.
