I got a new do!!

I usually just go to the walk-in hair cut places and color my own hair. As usual I stopped in to get my hair cut and a new guy was there. He said they were having a special on highlights would I be interested? I asked a few questions and said sure. WOW what a difference it made. After he did the highlights he gave me a new style and I have to say I don't think I've ever been happier!
DH even noticed the difference and mentioned it several times last night. Can you be in love with your hair guy???? I have to say I hope I have found a keeper!! It was more than I have ever paid before, but I have to say I LOVE IT!!

pjilla...it's just hair. it grows back and can be dyed different colors...gotta have some courage!

I used to color my hair at home...but the last time I did, it turned BLACK...(was aiming for dark brown - totally missed it.) Never again!!

I'm so bad - I only get my hair cut MAYBE twice a year...highlighted MAYBE 2 or 3 times. My friend goes every 8 weeks...I can't afford that...I embrace my roots! heheh

I get mine highlighted 2-3x/year. It can work wonders for your self-esteem. My hair has gotten (dramatically) darker since having kids. It is a dark, drabby blonde/brown. I get really blonde highlights and it makes me feel 15 years younger. It is an instant pick-me-up. I can handle my hair growing out with the color. The roots don't look all that bad. I got them done 2 days before Christmas and I am still doing fine. I will probably get it done again right before the kids go back to school. I am glad you found somebody that gives you a cut that makes you happy.

Getting highlights is fun!

I get my hair highlighted all the time. Last time it was red and blonde highlights. I going back in the beginning of June and am trying to decide what fun colors I want for summer!

i use to never get my hair hilighted but when my sister became a hairdresser she wanted to experment on my hair. so being the great person i am i let her--it turned out great and have been doing it ever since. recently i let my friend do my hair--that one didn't turn out so well, but now it is all fixed--love getting my hair hi-lited!!!
