I'm having a breast augmentation (from an A to a small C) and a mini tummy tuck. A mini is different from a full tummy tuck in that it only removes the stretch marks/wrinkly and extra skin below the belly button, and includes stretching the skin down, lipo on the love handle area and tightening the stomach muscles. I'm having both procedure done at the same time to save money on operating room costs. The healing time is also less, and I should be feeling pretty good about two weeks later (I hope). We've been trying to save money for the procedures for a really long time, but we always spent it on other things. Thanks to a nice tax refund, it's finally going to happen! I'm going with a reputable surgeon in Newport Beach, CA. PM me if you want to know the cost of everything - all things considered, it's not as bad as I thought it would be, and I think it will be worth every penny. I'm 31, not planning on having any more children, and all I want to do is be like I was before I had kids. I'm beyond thrilled right now, though my dh is a little on the nervous side as it took a lot of convincing for him to agree to it. The surgery is a couple of days after his birthday, so I told him to consider it a birthday present!

Wow. I'm surprised. I've heard you talk about it before but didn't know you were that serious. I hope things go the way you want and that you are happy with the results.

I have body parts that need to be tucked, suctioned, removed, and lifted but I doubt I'll ever do any of it. One, we are dirt poor. And two, I'm a big fat chicken.

Oh, why I am nervous for you?? I'm happy that you are happy, but nervous too. Keep us updated please. I hope the recovery is quick and problem free.
