Who did you vote for Mayor?

I voted for Healy because of his plan to start a 311 number where I can call 50 times a day to report potholes. I didn't buy the "lower taxes, better schools" from the rest of the candidates.

Of course after I voted for him, I saw a flyer on my car with a pic of him naked on his stoop passed out.
Although my friend says he heard that a rival had spiked his drink, but who knows.

Still better than Manzo, the crook.

I don’t know who long you have lived in JC…but the politics here have always been interesting…to say the least… I heard the Healy item actually appeared in a piece in the NY Times…

The rival camp supposedly followed Healy home one night after a party. After about a half hour they started making a ruckus in front of his house to get him outside. He went outside in a towel and it fell off. There took pictures of him butt naked. Then all the spots about him being a naked drunk started to show up….nice real nice..

..that’s been politics as usual in JC and Hudson County…and that is amongst Democrats…because as you know there are NO republicans in JC, HC…

Yeah, I saw they are still counting votes. I guess there are 4,000 provisional ballots out there. But I doubt all of them voted for mayor, and I also dout there would be enough votes for Manzo.

I've lived here a year but worked here for 10. It's just as corrupt in the other places I lived in NJ - Hoboken and North Bergen.

I could totally get behind a Republican locally. Since I am starting to become more fiscally conservative.

When I moved into my condo, I was given an earful about how corrupt JC was when the building was converted. Our piping was done with the type of pipes you use for emergency sprinkler systems. And someone just paid off the town inspectors. Ugh!
