I found a phone

I found a phone on the side of the street and picked it up and took it home because if I hadn't it would have been ran over.

Now I don't know what to do with it. Do I just wait until the owner calls it, or what? I definitely don't want to keep it, I want to find a way to give it back.

Turn on the phone, go into the person's contacts, and see if there are any names like, "Home" "Mom" or "Dad" etc. Call one of the numbers, and say that you found the phone at *location.* Ask if it belongs to them.

Go to the police station and tell them you found a phone.
They'll probably put it in a lost and found and wait for someone to claim it. lol

Or send a bunch of texts and rack up their bill. Only kidding. I agree that you should call a number but don't go to give it to them. Have an adult give the phone back -- you don't know who's it is. Or better yet, tell them the phone will be at the nearest police station and they can pick it up there -- of course, bring the phone there.

I was going to tell the person who answered that the phone was at (my address) and that they could come and pick it up. Don't worry, both my parents are home right now.

Great! i'm glad you returned it to the person because there are just some people who just pick up a phone and just keep it...i know people who do that.

I sitll can't get a hold of the number, I'm going to try a different number next. I mean, if they're in this chicks phone, they must be close to her.

Okay, I got a hold of "Mom". The girl was there, and apparently she didn't even know her phone was gone.

I'm going to drop her phone off tomorrow at the Cricket store where she works.
