The tourist thing, and SHOPPING!

My step-sister can not fly for medical reasons, so this is a trip she can do. Going with my step mother as well, and her cousin.

Oohhh, have a wonderful time!! The weather is supposed to clear up and be really nice this weekend! I will need to see pictures of everything you buy!

Oh that's good to know thanks. It has been 80 to 90 here for almost a week, and I was looking at the forecast and I saw perhaps cool and rain? I am clueless about what to pack.. Jeans and stuff I guess? Ugg boots???

Sorry, just got back on the computer. It's supposed to be cool and VERY windy this weekend. I think jeans, uggs, sweaters would be good. A medium weight jacket, scarf would be good too.

Hi, I think it took me a few days to settle in.

Our weekend was just fantastic. Had a HUGE downpour in Times Square Friday night. Raced to buy an umbrella, and after ten minutes it stopped . After that Sat and Sun were both sunny, and as you mentioned *(THANK YOU) windy. SO i was in my uggs, jeans, and the trusty/trendy scarf. All around very comfortable for all the walking and shopping.

Hi, I think it took me a few days to settle in.

Our weekend was just fantastic. Had a HUGE downpour in Times Square Friday night. Raced to buy an umbrella, and after ten minutes it stopped . After that Sat and Sun were both sunny, and as you mentioned *(THANK YOU) windy. SO i was in my uggs, jeans, and the trusty/trendy scarf. All around very comfortable for all the walking and shopping.

I'm so glad you had fun! Did you do a lot of shopping?? (pics please! )

I have an appointment with an endodontist this coming Monday to have surgery through my gum to clear the infection. I'm not looking forward to it, but I do want this over already - it will be 5 weeks at that point

I really didn't buy all that much?? Considering we had just done the cruise and such, it wasn't a really great time for that... Picked up scarves and that for DD, and for me just a pair of sunglasses.

Think I will take DD12 for XMAS and we can both go to town

Hi! I'm so happy, I got the stitches out yesterday and he said it is healing beautifully.

I didn't really get snow, but the rest of my family did, complete with downed trees and power outages It's freakin October!! If this is a precursor to winter I am very afraid

Hope you had a great Halloween, nothing much happening right now. I have tickets to see a Christmas show in NJ for my birthday in December. I'm having Broadway withdrawal, I need to see a play soon!

Hello! I don't have a computer in New Jersey so I've been gone a few days. Hope you are well, how is your aunt?

Not much happening here; next week I'm going to my sister's house for Thanksgiving- we'll probably sleep over that night because it's almost 200 miles away. DH has the week off so I won't be on the Dis for 9 days; I'll have serious withdrawal!

I'm shopping online for new lampshades, who knew it would be so hard! Do you like these for brass lamps:

Oh my, I just got home last night, saw this news just now. I am so very sorry for your loss, you really helped to make her final days easier for her and her family.
