I was fortunately enough to meet TWO wonderful people you might be interested in whilst I was there
First, I was lucky enough to meet CarolynU's son, Simon, who I don't know if you remember, has just started working as a CM at Epcot for a year. That was cool. The poor man was working rope duty at International Gateway before the WS opens all by his self...and lucky for him he was wearing a lanyard so I went up for a snoop. After talking to him about pins for a minute I saw his nametag, stepped back, pointed lots at his tag furiously whilst saying excitedly "I know you! I know you!" Really...he only looked terrified for a few seconds, I swear it
After explaining that I'd heard all about him from the DIS, we stood and had a good natter for 15 to 20 minutes I think. It was great to meet him, and if you are there in the next year, do try to track him down...he's very nice
Second, there was a little DIS mini-meet at MK on e-nite...and which I made a special effort to attend in order to meet......BANZAI...yay! Brad, it was lovely to meet you in person, even if it was only briefly and I hope you had a great vacation
