I finally thought of my "dream event "

and here it is !
A private pool party at Storm along bay. We could rent the pool for ourselves from around 7pm-9pm one evening ! Wouldn't that be fun !!!!! Much more inclusive than ToT !

I agree that this is much more inclusive Judy , but for me it's not different. I would sit along the sidelines and watch and cheer....LOL

No really, this is a nice idea. But how do you close off a pool that big???

I think if we could get 2 or 3 rides at the MK for 2 hours...this would be neat! Maybe Buzz Lightyear for the younger ones, and Space, and ??? BTMRR ??? Just a thought.

Pools are sometimes closed off for private parties - so that wouldn't be a problem...except to the irritated hotel guests who want to use it. Having warm enough weather for a nighttime pool party COULD be tough! We were VERY fortunate that the weather was as warm as it was for Dis-Con I - but the next convention will be a week later - and possibly much colder.

I agree, we were very fortunate weather-wise this time.

So........we'll just move all 300+ of us into the hot tubs if the weather doesn't co-operate for DisCon 2!

Judy, I thought a pool party would be fun, too. But I don't want to give up the private park party. Even if we don't have an exclusive to, say, Stormalong Bay, maybe some of us could just agree to meet for an afternoon by the pool. Patinmn has already suggested getting a group together for Blizzard Beach, too, provided we have the same great weather,of course!
