I made my reservations for a YC/CR split May 26-June 5, '05 a little over a month ago. The first time, the CM told me that the AAA rates had not yet been released. The second time I was able to get the AAA rate for CR, but not YC (still a savings of $211.55). The third time I called, still no AAA for YC.
I called this morning. No AAA for YC. I asked the CM to check for a 5/27 check in date, and lo and behold, the AAA rate was available for 4 nights of our 5 night stay. So that's another $151.64 savings. Total AAA savings: $363.19. That will pay for a few meals for us.
Of course, I'll keep looking for more discounts!
Anyway, the moral of the story is KEEP TRYING and always ask that next question.
