I finally did it!!! CVSing!!!

I have been trying very hard to save money and today it finally paid off!

I went to CVS with several coupons and was able to spend $12.35 and got $12.00 in Extra bucks back!

1. Gillette Fusion Shaver; $9.99 minus $4.00 manu coupon
2. Cologate toothpast; $2.50 minus $1.00 manu coupon; minus $1.00 cvs coupon
3. zegerid; $9.99 minus $5.00 manu coupon (coupon was actually for larger size, but I accidently gave it -i also had $3.00 off)

Both the shaver ($5.00) and zegerid ($7.00) came with extra bucks.

So, three things I needed onlyh cost .35!!!

good for you! I spent way more than that tonight, but saved $20 on my CVS trip. Makes me realize if I take a few minutes to figure out what I need, I can save some serious money.

I finally sat down at my computer and did my shopping list yesterday using the coupons and CouponMom.com. It worked out pretty well. I got a TON of snacks for the lunchboxes next week and I used lots of coupons. I also went to CVS and got some right gaurd for my DH that was BOGO but I still ended up paying $4. But I got $4 in CVS bucks back. I guess that's how it works???

That is how it works, the first time at least. Next time you go you can use those ECB like cash to buy something you need. Most hardcore CVSers roll them into other items that will get them more ECB.

Yes, but the deoderant was BOGOF at CVS PLUS there was a coupon in the 7/25 (I believe) newspaper for BOGOF. So you could get both free.

Well, groceries have steadily been creeping up. I really made an effort to use those coupons this past week alongside the couponmom site. I have been reading all the tips so, I'll see how it goes.

I'd love to be able to do this, but we don't have a CVS anywhere near us here in CO. I envy the savings all of you get!
