DH's best friend from college got married Thanksgiving weekend. DH was in the wedding, which was an hour away. He left early and I stayed behind and drove up later that day. My babysitter arrived late so in all my haste to leave, I forgot the card with check enclosed on my counter. So, I feel tacky about not having it. The next day, DH has to go back to pick up his card. I tell his friend that I forgot the card (again) and I will send it. He says "that's okay" but I get his address. I get home and can't find the daggone card. Now, I am thinking it's not so urgent because they had just left on their 10 day honeymoon. Then of course like an idiot, I forget all about it!!! I was cleaning up a basket that I throw papers in and I found the card last night!!
I feel terrible. Should I just drop it in the mail? What is the etiquite for wedding gifts (money cards). This is the last thing I will blame on sleep deprivation!! Even DH said to me, "You never used to forget anything"!

That's the reason you've become forgetful.
