I Feel SO Sorry for These Guys!!!!

I feel so sorry for the guys that are outside repaving my street. It's about 9000 degrees out there, and they have spent their morning chipping away the old asphalt at the end of the church driveway across the sreet. They seem to have gone to take a break, and will probably be back to lay the steaming hot asphalt. Yuk!!!!

On a related note, my dog is out there barking like a nut because there are big diesel trucks everywhere.I've kept him in because of it, but he was standing at the back door with his little legs crossed, so I finally HAD to let him out. I am sure that my nasty neighbor will be calling to complain that he is barking, because the 4 diesel trucks, the jackhammers,the asphalt grinder/flinger truck, and the various men screaming is not disturbing to her in the least, but my 50 lb dog barking is going drive her over the edge. The ambulance has gone by about 4 times today too(naturally, because the road is all torn up) with sirens blaring but that won't bother her...only my dog will!

We used to have one of those neighbors when I was a kid. When my parents enclosed their front porch she complained that it obstructed her view of the street....lol

I feel bad for the workers too...Maybe if you bring them some lemonade they will take care of your neighbor for you....ok j/k

I have a bit of yappy dog at home, but thankfully, my neighbours aren't that bad. But still annoying with their comments...
