Haha, aren't they hilarious? You should've seen this one PhotoPass guy. He totally didn't get the concept of Flat Rachel. He was such a tool! He got my in the picture looking all hot and rough when I told him to just her her. It looked crazy!!

Yay for going back! How about this time you take a flat Sarah if I don't go with my family?! I ask my sister to do it but I'm pretty sure she'd think I was nuts.

Thanks!! I actually did a PhotoPass share with five other people. I'm sure they were all thinking the PP pics of Flat Rachel were nuts!

Ugh...that seat was so awful! We went through the entire ride getting soaked and even got blasted at the end by someone. Talk about insult to injury.

DAY THREE, PART THREE

I met up with Aaron back at the Lodge. We decided to head over to DHS b/c we felt we just didn't ride ToT enough. I went against Tour Guide Mike's advice on this one. He suggested to stay far, FAR away from DHS on a Fantasmic night. I was certain I was smart than him and we went anyway. EW! We stopped by the attraction board to see wait times. 15 minutes for ToT. HA! Take that Tour Guide Mike. Well, we made it over there and the line was stretched all the way back to the Hollywood Hotel sign. No joke! 15 minutes my eye! Someone needed to update their stand-by time. Shame, shame.

After being spoiled the previous evening, we weren't about to wait in that thing. We walked over to RnR and the line was just as long. It looked like it was about to rain, too. So, we decided to just head over to MK. Of course, right as we were walking over to catch the bus the TTC bus was heading out. It was starting to lightening at this point, and the GF/CR bus had just arrived. So, we hopped on there. We figured it was better than the potential of getting soaked at the bus stop. We could just hop on the monorail to the MK afterwards. I also wanted to do a quick tour of GF since I had never been inside before.

Once we arrived at the GF, it got really dark and started storming. We looked around some of the shops inside, checked out that infamously horrid carpeting and did a little pin trading. Flat Rachel was just dying for some photo ops, too.

I was trying to take her picture outside by one of the cars when I started up a conversation with another guest. Of course he asked about Flat Rachel and then said he had a great idea. He wanted to get a picture with both of us...if only it was in better focus. Notice, I have my arm "around" her! It was hilarious!

Finally, we hopped on the monorail and headed over to the MK. It was still pouring and we were both getting really miserable. Aaron's poncho ripped so we picked him up an umbrella. Still...the ground was super slippery and we were pretty wet. We decided to just call it a night and head back to the Lodge. We originally had an ADR at WCC, but I had cancelled it earlier b/c I didn't think Aaron would like anything there. Yeah...I know. Instead, we hopped in the car and headed to a place with special meaning to us:

Ha! Yep, a Italian chain restaurant called Carrabba's. I did my internship at Universal and we went here when Aaron came down to visit me one time. It was love at first taste. So of course we had to revisit the place that started his Carrabba's obsession. Afterwards, we headed back the Lodge to relax. Poor Flat Rachel, she was tuckered out:

I know, I know. I had such great intentions w/ this and then I just turned into the BIGGEST slacker...EVER. Although, to my defense the last two months have just been AWFUL!!! I managed to have a sinus infection, pink eye and my personal favorite...H1N1! Yeah, seriously! I couldn't believe it. On top of all that, work has been CRAZY busy. And since most of my DISing happens at work (yeah, I'm sad) I've been neglectful. SHAME ON ME!!!! I know, I'm lame.

Did you have a good time on your trip? How was MNSSHP?? I have to come checkout your TR.

Ok...I am DETERMINED to finish this before I start my PTR for our January trip.

DAY FOUR, PART ONE

Flat Rachel decided she wanted to head back to Animal Kingdom to so she could ride KS. We got there around 9:15. We figured we'd do the same thing as we did the previous day and grab fastpasses for KS and head for EE. While heading over to EE, I traded for some cute pins:

We were able to ride EE twice before the wait time got up towards 35 minutes. Here's an awesome bootleg shot of ride pic:

By this time, it was about 10am and we were ready to hit KS. I made sure to charge both of my camera batteries so I wouldn't have the same problem I had the day before. Oh, and I remembered to bring out Flat Rachel too! She LOVED KS!!

After KS, we decided to ride Dinosaur one more time. I'm one of the few people on these boards that actually likes Dinoland. Yeah, it's hokey but Primeval Whirl is a blast!!! We headed over to ride it and the line was 35 minutes long. Um, I don't love it THAT much. So, we decided to head back to the hotel. But, before we left the park I did manage to pick up another mystery pin set at the pin cart by the Tree of Life. Of course, I already had the two pins I got but I just couldn't resist!

It turns out I'm not going to be joining my family in January. Instead Dad and I are going to go in April over spring break. That way I don't have to miss any more school. I started a new PTR if you want to join in...

DAY FOUR, PART TWO]

After we left AK, we headed back to the hotel. We wound up getting some lunch at Roaring Forks. I had a bowl of chili and Aaron got a cheeseburger with fries. Oh, and we shared one of those HUGE brownies. YUM!!! After lunch, I went through the gift shop and the lobby to do a pin sweep. I found a few HM pins that I really liked:

Afterwards, I headed back to the room and we both took a short nap. We were both pretty tired and wanted energy for our last night at MK. We headed over to MK around 4:30pm. We made the big mistake of taking the bus. Why did we take the bus...I don't exactly know? I heard conflicting stories, but the boat is definitely faster than the bus. In fact, we had to wait for nearly 20 minutes for an MK bus. I was so annoyed. We probably should've just went and took the boat but we figured the bus would come eventually. That was irritating!!

Once we finally made it to MK, we headed straight for Splash Mountain -- and more annoyance. We grabbed fastpasses for BTMRR first and figured we'd just hop in the stand-by line for Splash. BAD IDEA!! The stand-by wait time was posted at 20 minutes and really didn't look bad at all. Unfortunately, we only moved about five feet in 20 minutes. We asked a CM what the hold up was and he just said we were almost there. Uh...we hadn't even gone up the stairs yet. We were obviously NOT almost there. So, after waiting another ten minutes and only moving about a foot we hopped out of line. I did manage to snap this cute picture, though.

We jumped in the stand-by line for BTMRR and that took just about 15 minutes. By the time we got off, our fastpass time had come up so we hopped on it again. Of course, we couldn't miss a photo op for Flat Rachel:

We then headed over to the Haunted Mansion and then decided it was time to grab something for dinner. Of course, we decided to do Peco Bill's...again. We just love that place! Aaron was far more careful this time and made sure he didn't burn himself on the cheese sauce. Thank goodness! Aaron got a taco salad and I got a cheeseburger. It was quite tasty!

After dinner, we decided to attempt Splash again. This time, the line was moving very quickly and it only took about 10 minutes to get on the ride! We even got to ride again!! Although, we did wear ponchos. That stupid canyon kept nailing us every time we rode it. EVERY TIME!

We decided to ride Pirates one last time before heading over to Tomorrowland. Usually, we spend a lot of time over there. But, I was too distraught over Space Mountain and TTA being down I couldn't bare to drag myself over there sooner. In fact, I secretly hoping that TTA would have magically reopened just for me. No such luck...

Instead, we headed over to ride Buzz. We got in line around 8:30. The line was not long at all and I figured we'd get out before Wishes started. FAIL! Something happened, and the ride just shut down. It was down for at least 15 minutes. We contemplated getting out of line, but I really wanted to ride. Here's Flat Rachel, wondering what the hold up is:

Apparently, some yahoo had dropped a hat on the ride and made them stop it to recover it. BOO!! Don't those people know I was on a timeline?!?! Psh. So, we finally made it out just as Wishes was starting. I'm not typically a firework person but there is just something about Wishes that I LOVE!!! I gotta say, I was really happy with the way my camera worked Wishes. I just wish I had been in a better spot.

And that, my DIS friends, is how we concluded our day four. Up next...how a grumpy DH takes on Chef Mickeys.

I've seen parts before, but never watched it the whole way through, so I'll be staking out a spot an hour in advance to hopefully have a prime viewing location. Gotta do it right for your first time!

Can't wait to read more, even if it does take a litttttttle longer than some of us would like.

So, I'm sure you could tell I'm completely in love w/ your pictures! They are AH-MAAAZZZINNNG!!!! I'm quite envious of your photography skills. I'm going to be stalking your TR in December!

I am SO glad I took Flat Rachel. I was just bummed I completely neglected her during the first couple days of our trip. DUH!

Yeah, my TR would definitely need an ECV at WDW. It's THAT slow. I'm hellbent on getting it done this week. I'd really be pathetic if I didn't. I only have two more days left. MUST FINISH.

DAY FIVE, PART ONE

Today was our scheduled free day. And thank goodness b/c I don't think Aaron could've taken much more of the parks. Good thing I scheduled breakfast at CMs! Our ADR was for 9:20am, so it gave us plenty of time to sleep in...well, compared to the rest of the week anyway. We hopped on the boat around 8:30. We went up to check-in, but sadly got asked to come back closer to our ADR time. Bummer! This was actually my first time being in CR, so we decided to look around. We went in the Fantasia store to find out what time the pin board would be out. 9:15am -- sweet!! We headed into the arcade to kill a little time. Nothing like a rousing game of ski ball to get your blood going in the morning. We also checked out the view from the observation deck. Loved it...just wish that monorail column wasn't block some of the view! I also had this horrible fear that the monorail would come toppling off its track and come crashing down on me. Yeah, I'm irrational some times.

We headed back inside to check-in. We were given a buzzer and found a seat amongst the chaos that is free dining. It was INSANITY in there! But of course, we found a relatively quite spot for Flat Rachel to get her face time at CR:

It really didn't take too long to get seated -- about 10-15 minutes. We sat over near the kids side of the buffet. We were seated and that's when Aaron caught his first glimpse of the characters. Apparently, I failed to inform him this was a character buffet. I swear, I thought he knew. He asked if we could put up a sign that said, "No characters, please." Psh, such a wet blanket!

I thought the food was...ok. Nothing spectacular, but the character interaction definitely made up for it. It was so much fun watching Aaron squirm waiting for the inevitable to happen! Even Flat Rachel got in on the action:

As you can clearly tell, Aaron was totally over the whole experience by Minnie. In fact, I was fairly certain he was about to kill someone soon. Sadly, because of this we didn't stick around for Pluto or Goofy. Sad!

Next up -- how the MK view rooms (at the Poly) really got a magical view...of my butt!
