I don't want to ride the bus! I want to ride the Monorail! Update 6/29 Day 4

I will! Hopefully, everything is fine and he just has high bp. I just hope there is no underlying conditions that are causing the high bp.

I have class tomorrow night from 5 to 7:45. I'm not happy! It's twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday from tomorrow until July 15. I also have a Wed. night online class and I have something due every Wed. starting next week until July 15. I hate getting my masters! LOL I'm glad I'm not working though. I shouldn't complain.

Anybody like Toni Braxton? LOL I know that's random but I'm listening to one of her old cd's and I really like it. Cool little fact about her...Brad's aunt in Atlanta was one of the nurse's who helped deliver Toni Braxton's baby. Neat huh?

May 10 Part 2

When I left off, we were heading back to AKL for a rest. We rested a little while and then headed to Epcot for our ADR's at Le Cellier.

AKL bus stop

We were running a little bit late so I didn't stop to get any pictures once we were at Epcot. Tyson fell asleep on the bus so we put him in the stroller and prayed he'd sleep through the meal! He's crazy when he first wakes up from his afternoon naps. LOL

We got to the check in and I begged the CM to let us bring in the stroller. He hesitated but I think he saw my desperation. I said, "This is his first nap for the whole day." I know I probably had crazy eyes like, "Don't say no or I will go psycho on your butt!" :lmao:

We waited ten minutes and they called our name. This CM looked at me funny when I started pushing the stroller towards the door. I told her Tyson was asleep and I couldn't wake him. I asked if she could accommodate us and she quickly left and moved chairs so that we could fit. It's so dark in there so I didn't take any pictures. I was so scared Tyson would wake up because of the flash too. I had the Chef's favorites. I chose the cheddar cheese soup, herb crusted prime rib, and maple creme brulee. It was all so good. I have to say it's on the top of my list. Brad loved his new york strip steak. Oh and I subbed in cream cheese mashed potatoes! OMG that's all I can say. Mmmmm

Here's my creme brulee
They gave us a card for our anniversary.

Tyson started waking up when we were leaving so we headed to Electric Umbrella to get him chicken nuggets and fries. I swear we ate here at least 4 times during the trip. I like it though. It's never too crowded, at least when we were there.

After he was full, we got on the monorail to go over to MK EMH. This started Tyson's obsession of the monorail, hence my title. He is obsessed! At first we just called it a train because we thought he'd be able to comprehend that better than calling it a monorail. Well, I guess he heard us calling it the monorail and he corrected Brad when he told Tyson it was a train. Tyson said, "It not a train. Its a monorail." LOL He surprises me sometimes.

HPIM3090.jpg

HPIM3092.jpg

When we were tranferring to the MK monorail. I asked the CM if we could ride up front. He said if there wasn't anyone in it we could. There wasn't so we hopped in. He gave me a paper flower he made for Mother's Day!! Awww

He got in and it was a tight fit with that huge stroller. Tyson was super excited and decided his stroller wheel was the steering wheel of the monorail.

HPIM3093.jpg

I'm not in very many pics because Brad usually has Tyson and I don't ask for him to take my picture much. This was my attempt to be in a picture.

HPIM3094.jpg

We arrive at the park and it's not really crowded at all. Mostly everyone is leaving. We headed to the castle first to get photopass pictures. They turned out ok. I think he tool one picture. :confused3 Oh well. Then we went to the jungle cruise because it's so fun at night. That guy was hilarious. I swear I've never had a JC guide be that funny. I have the whole thing on video.

Next, we went to POC. I was so excited. It's my favorite. We walked right on. Tyson loved it. He was singing the song. It's funny. I bought the 2 CD album last year so he knows the songs to everything. We walked out and passed by the POC entrance to go over to get our strollers. I recognized the guy talking to a CM and guess who it was...TIM! LYNN's husband. So then I see Lynn walking up to him and start to walk into POC. I yell really loud LYNN like two times. I told her who I was and she hugged my neck. I asked if they are having fun and how many more days they had left. She's so nice.

We left there and started making our way to HM. We stopped to get a diet coke by the Liberty Bell. Well, Tyson fell in love with the little hill there. It's those little moments that I love so much. The unexpected happy moments that you can't plan.

We stood here for at least 15 minutes.

HPIM3103.jpg

Tyson was unsure of HM. He didn't cry but I don't think he enjoyed it. LOL

We wanted to ride some rides for him next. We walked into fantasyland and found everyone. LOL It was more crowded then I thought it would be and lines were too long to stand in. Tyson tuckered himself out and there was no way he'd wait 20 or more mins.

We left and got in line to wait for the bus. That's when Tyson got ticked! He lost it. People were looking at us. Ughhh it was horrible. You know why he was mad? He wanted to ride the monorail. :sad2: I've created I monster. He yelled out it the cutest, yet annoying, little whine, "I don't want to ride the bus! I want to ride the monorail!" I by the way he says monorail really southern. I mean he stretches out rail really long with a deep southern drawl. It's precious. It melts my heart. He settles down when we get on the bus and almost falls asleep before we get to AKL.

Sorry not a lot of pics with this update.

Up next a freakin packed MK, the absolutely awesome Contemporary CS, and more Epcot.

That is too funny about the monorail!!! It amazes me how kids pick up on things, and have sucj grown up moments... can't wait to read more!!!

Aww...I'm sure it was horrible at the time, but I think it's so cute that Tyson loved the monorail so much! I can just picture him saying it in a little southern accent! :thumbsup2 So cute. I'm glad they let you take the stroller into Le Cellier! I can't wait to try the food there--I hope we get an ADR!

awww! I love little kids with southern accents! poor little guy... if it makes you feel any better, i always give parents the benefit of the doubt when i see them with a screaming child!

Great update :thumbsup2. It looks like Tyson is having a great time. It is always fun to ride in the front of the monorail.

Tyson is such a cutie! LOL my son has every outfit Tyson has had on so far. Love Carters. :0)

I just want to say......I Hate School!

I just can't get back into school mode. I have three small assignments due tomorrow at 11:59 pm and I haven't started them. They are not hard but I can't get motivated to read and write them. OH WELL! It's got to get done. I'll do it tomorrow though. Oh and I had class tonight too. UGHHHH

BTW, today was Nan's birthday!!!!!!! Yay I love her!

Hey Brandi! After loving your PTR I can't believe I just not found your TR. I'm loving it! Tyson's so cute and looks to be loving everything. I'm glad you had a good first two days!

May 10

Monday morning, probably around 10 am, this animal was walking around outside our window.

HPIM3105.jpg

We took the bus to MK and found Pinocchio!

HPIM3107.jpg

We took a few photopass pics on Main Street but I haven't uploaded them yet.

Then it was time for fantasyland rides! I didn't take any pictures while on the rides but here we are in line for maybe winnie the pooh.

HPIM3109.jpg

HPIM3111.jpg

We wanted to ride Dumbo or something but it was just so hot and there were so many people. It was probably around 12 pm. I was kind of mad that there were so many people and I thought that UG suggested going there that day but I may be wrong. But thank goodness we had park hoppers! We decided to get out of there and fast!

We took the monorail over to the contemporary to eat at their CS. It was soooo good. If you are trying to get out of the parks for lunch, I suggest the contemporary CS. The cupcakes were huge and delicious!

I had the fish sandwich with some awesome slaw on top of the fish. Brad had a cheeseburger. Tyson had chicken nuggets. The cupcake is a black forest cake with cherry filling! YUM!

HPIM3115.jpg

We hung out there for a while and just watched little birds come down from the ceiling and the monorail go by. We had a great conversation with some ladies from up north. Maybe New jersey? I can't remember. They were great.

We took the monorail over to Epcot.

We went on spaceship earth and I tried to get a good pic of the picture at the end.

HPIM3123.jpg

HPIM3125.jpg

We actually got stuck next to the snoring monk for at least 10 minutes. Tyson fell asleep on the ride.

By then we had to start heading towards Tokyo Dining. Tyson slept through the whole meal.

Brad had steak.
HPIM3126.jpg

I had the tempura sushi combo.
HPIM3127.jpg

We both had the ginger cake for dessert.

Tyson woke up so we went to the restroom near the gardens to change his diaper. You won't believe this. There was no changing table. :confused3 I'm so confused. I can't believe that!

Tyson had some fun with the leaves.

Then we went to American Adventure building to use the restrooms on the side of the building.

We took the friendship boats back over.
We went to the butterfly house. The topiary was really pretty.

After that we took the bus back to AKL.

Enjoying your trip report. Love the outfits of your husband and son...I did the same thing with my son and husband. I remembered your question about Jiko...did you guys go there for dinner? If so I can't wait to hear all about it. My sons first Disney vacation was GF and he loves riding the monorail (and hoping to always be the co-pilot...which he got to do a couple of times) each day and he would asked his dad before bed can they go around before bed (he just turned 2 at his first trip). So everytime we go to a Disney vacation he expects to stay on a monorail resorts...when we don't we try to go a few monorail rides. When we stayed in AKL (which he loved b/c he sees animals when he wakes up and see them before he goes to sleep), he asked next time can we stay at his favorite hotel (a monorail). I can't wait to hear more of you trip.

I too thought the butterfly garden was so nice. It was really relaxing too!!!

I look forward to the butterfly house every year. Last year we missed F & G festival by a week or so. I was so sad that Tyson wouldn't get to see the butterflies. LOL this year he could care less.

That is so cute that he wanted to go around one more time before bed. I can see Tyson wanting to do the same thing. It will be a long time before we get to stay at a monorail resort though. If we can get a good deal we might stay at AKL or Wilderness. I'm curious about Wilderness. I love AKL though. We will probably stay at a moderate next May. In Dec. we will stay at a value. I don't care where. They are all the same to me.

Congrats on the free dining pin. I got one in the mail today too. I called to see about having the pin applied to our September trip and it actually added $20 to our trip. Since we bought APs in May I may see about booking in November.
